High Street Dental Practice

As a private patient the service is terrible. Staff are not able to book appointments correctly, I had several rearranged without reason. Staff are rude to customers. I called for an hour to make an appointment then gave up and walked to the surgery to find 4 girls sitting at the desk not doing anything, I was told they had been busy at 10am and not able to answer the phone. Had denture made that I had to fit myself it was so badly made my mouth bled. Took over a month to get it looked at before waiting for a new one to be made. There are alot of bad reviews about this place I am surprised it is still open. It needs a good manager to deal with customer care.

Since the pandemic the level of service is virtually non existent with the receptionist left to deal with disgruntled patients who continually have their appointments cancelled mostly at the last minute. I have seen a dentist one in 3 appointments being told a hygienist could do my fillings, the hygienist then said she couldn't and I needed to see the Dentist. I turned up for my appointment with the dentist but again saw a hygienist who told me I need at least 2 extractions and that they would cost me about £500... which is not what the NHS charges state.
I have currently been on the phone waiting for someone to answer the phone for 29 minutes to speak with the Practise Manager, I initially requested a call back in May from this person and am still waiting...
If you can avoid this practice then please do, the service is no longer what it use to be as all the previous dentists have left!

Always been excellent to me for Dental Treatment and care. Staff are friendly and helpful. Always able to get an appointment when and if I have any trouble.
Not the same place since Dr Paul left though!

my very first appt here as a nervous patient, just before covid did not go well, i felt i was spoken to rudely without any reason by a male dentist. However since then I have recently had several appts which have all been very pleasant visits, very pleasant and polite receptionists and 2 very pleasant and caring dentists, dont know the name of the first lady dentist I saw but the most recent one I believe is called Olenka, if my treatment by all staff remains as friendly and pleasant I shall be more than happy.

I have visited this dental practice on many occasions and have always had the best treatment. My dentist Olenka is so caring, professional, compassionate and understanding to my fears of going to the dentist. This makes my experience much better. Thank you High Street x

My wonderful dentist Javier has been amazing over the last year. Me and my family will miss his lovely personality and great dental care. He makes everyone feel so at ease at their appointments and gives the best aftercare. Good luck at your new practice and thank you!

Had a fab experience last Saturday (if you can say that about a dentist). As a nervous patient i was made to feel as ease with the new private dentist. I think his name was Abdul. So softy spoken and caring, explained all options. The lovely young girl (blonde dont know her name sorry) went through finance options wity me that are really affordable monthly. I cant wait to come back for treatment in 2 weeks.

Cannot recommend this dental practice enough!! I am terrified of doctors and dentist but Laura calmed me down so much she was so helpful! The process is so easy when registering with the practice, the staff are so nice and welcoming. If you’re local I 100% recommend the high street dental practice.
