Toby is an amazing dentist - professional, empathetic and kind. He and Abbie make a great complementary team. The adminstrative staff are helpful and diligent.

I hated having dentistry work, until I discovered Strand Dental in Worthing. I needed two crowns, and was terrified of what the procedure would entail. Alex Thornton is a superb dentist. My experience as his patient has been an absolute pleasure. The results of my new smile has restored my confidence. I genuinely enjoy going to the dentist now. His dental nurse Eden, is wonderful. I have always been a nervous patient going for dentist check ups. I had the pleasure of dealing with Toby Roberts who made me feel massively at ease. From the get go, Toby created a plan for me to get my perfect smile. He took before photos, so that I could see the progress from each of my dentist visits. I can now say that I am really pleased with my teeth and there is a massive difference between my before and afters. Toby was also assisted by dental nurse Eden and Abbie, who were also amazing and made me feel at ease by checking that I was doing okay and asking if I needed breaks during procedures. I could not recommend this dental practice enough! :)

I have recently joined Strand Dental services after hearing about their excellent service from others. I saw Toby Roberts, who was incredibly approachable and I immediately felt put at ease. His calm manner enabled me to address all the concerns I had. He rectified all the difficulties I was experiencing and his attention to detail was of the highest quality. Can't recommend Strand Dental enough. All so welcoming and professional including receptionists, hygienists, dental nurses and dentists. Jamie, Toby and Vicky offer such a personal service and have gone above and beyond to put me at ease whilst working amazingly on my teeth. Recently I've had the whitening process which has exceeded my expectations. Can't believe from my past experience and dentist phobia at a previous dental surgery I now actually enjoy going to the dentist. Thank you all for providing the best possible service in a clean, Covid safe and high end environment.

I recently changed practices after moving to Strand Dental and couldn't be happy with the service received so far. I was referred to Dr Roberts who was incredibly knowledgeable and managed to fill me with confidence before going through my last consultation. The service has been fantastic and very reasonable for the exceptional standards Strand Dental hold themselves to. I would happily recommend Dr Roberts and the rest of the team to anyone.
