Having a fear of dentists after some unpleasant dentist experiences as a child, I have put off having an implant for over a decade. My very good NHS dentist recommended Adrian Watts and Bristol Dental Specialists, my first experience of private treatment.
Adrian, ably assisted by Chloe, couldn't have been better. A combination of professionalism, skill, state-of-the-art equipment and compassion meant that, after my initial consultation, I was confident enough to go ahead with the treatment . At every stage, the whole team kept me well-informed, including after care instructions.
Not the cheapest option but certainly value for money. I would highly recommend.

I was recently referred to Adrian at the Bristol Dental Specialists, by my NHS dentist, to have a tooth implant.
I have just had my final appointment to fit the implant and I have been very pleased with the treatment I have received throughout the procedure. At my first appointment, Adrian talked me through the different options open to me and I was able to make an informed decision as to which I wished to have. At each appointment I attended I was made to feel very welcome and at ease; Adrian was very personable and professional. The whole procedure was painless and I am extremely pleased with the result.

Former orthodontic patient of Darren, having found myself in dire need of help after poor dental work elsewhere led to a cracked root and over 18 months of pain, infection and misdiagnosis by my regular dentist.

My first consultation was with Lyndon who identified the source of my problem and advised that the tooth was beyond saving, referring me to Adrian.

Adrian has been incredible. I had nerve damage arising from the previous issue and he supported me through that, extracting the broken tooth and installing an implant. Every step of the journey I’ve felt well cared for, have been advised and made fully aware of what’s happening, received great aftercare and follow up and now we’re here. My implant journey (for the moment) complete but with full knowledge that I have a specialist in whom I have absolute confidence should the need arise for further work.

The implant process itself was far more straightforward than I’d anticipated; the alternative for me had been an appliance (bridge work) but I’m really happy that I opted for the implant. It looks exactly as my tooth had, the alignment is perfect, there’s no special care required (over and above regular teeth cleaning) and I can’t understand why more folk don’t opt for this solution (I’m in my 40’s and the prospect of a removable appliance just wasn’t on my horizon.

I’ve no hesitation in a solid five star review, I could go into great detail about the traumatic period that preceded my treatment but it’s been transformative, far beyond cosmetic benefit.

Darren and the team were fantastic from day one. Everyone was friendly, helpful and very professional. My treatment was clearly explained and I was made to feel comfortable every time I visited. Darren always took time to talk through any questions I had along the way. I was so pleased with the results!

I can’t say I love the dentist but Adrian made me feel comfortable from the consultation right through til the end of my treatment. If you need an implant go and see Adrian, trust me you will be in good hands.
