University of Bristol Dental Hospital

Abaolutely appalled by the service I have received from NHS Dental Hospital Bristol, was referred over a year ago, being told by my own dentist to be patient and things do take an extremely long time sometimes. Meanwhile I have a dental infection in my mouth which is getting worse and potentially jeopardising my health, finally to be told today upon phoning the dental hoapital directly, that they don't really know whats happened with it - but my referral has expired and I need to go back to my dentist for another referral. Absolutely disgusting level of service will be in contact with QCC.

I have a horrible fear of the dentist and was very anxious going in, however the team here are very accommodating and really are wonderful. Was seen by Mohammed and Claire and they were very reassuring and supportive. As someone who has struggled with dental hygiene when struggling with mental health, I was worried about judgement etc but they were both beyond lovely and thorough in taking me through options of treatment. Cannot sing their praises enough.

My teeth got damaged from a serious cancer in my throat, long story but I'm suppose to have all new teeth.
I'm into my 4th year and excuse after excuse.
Since this had second cancer face fully reconstructed and still no teeth.
I chock all the time because I can't chew, we've had to call ambulance to save me from dying, that's how serious it is. Yet still nothing sorted, I'm at my wits end to be honest
I've been through hell since 37 with cancer and treated like this...
Now just come out of Yeovil hospital with possible bleed on the brain and treated me so well.

Yet Bristol dental hospital really can't get it together at all.
The powers that be should be ashamed.

Absolutely amazing staff, after my sons unfortunate accident of knocking his front top teeth out and splitting his lips, fixed him up and aftercare appointments top notch. As a parent I can't thank you enough for my sons treatment.

Many thanks to the team who provided care and expertise today for my extraction. Ms Wilson was very gentle and skilled and, most importantly, quick! My nerves mean I have forgotten everyone's names but please know I am so grateful for your care and kindness.

Not worth the paper it's written on. If I could give 0 star I would 5 years trying to get a dentist, and not even the hospital will see me, I have rotten teeth, sever gum infections and constant pain.
I've decided to brave it and pull my teeth out myself and self medicate. This is what the NHS have forced me to do.
Shocking that, I work and pay money to nhs. But they DONT care.

Yesterday my husband went to BDH for emergency extraction of a wisdom tooth.The empathy and kindness shown to this elderly man and myself was superb.His mouth is already feeling more comfortable.Many,many thanks for your care.

Excellent receptionist even thanked me for talking respectfully to them. Lovely people. Worth so much more than they deserve. I wish I knew the dentist name as she was lovely and only 6 months from passing out. She was lovely and so gentle and reassuring. So glad to be under her care. The extraction team were amazing I wish I knew his name as he and his senior was amazing. Please can someone put me on to them so I can personally thank them again. I was in so much pain
