My treatment was to be implants fitted to upper right premolar, lower right molar and upper left 2nd premolar and after a suitable period of healing, fitting of implant crowns.
Pretreatment involved regular Corsodyl mouthwashes which continued after surgery for a couple of weeks. The first stage of treatment was fitting of the implants to the right side of my jaw which was done under local anaesthetic. I was surprised at how painless the whole procedure was. The dentist followed up with a telephone call to make sure everything was alright and I returned a couple of weeks later to have any remaining stitches removed (dissolving stitches) and a checkup. I returned to the dentist three months later for X-rays and impressions taken of upper and lower jaw. The dentist also looked for a colour match against my teeth for the implant crowns. A few weeks later I returned for fitting of the implant crowns. Again this was followed by a further checkup after two weeks to make sure I was happy and satisfied with the fitting. The procedures were repeated for the left side of my jaw.
The dentist and dental staff always showed great care and attention and a thoroughly professional attitude. It’s obvious they take great pride in there work and I am really pleased with the result. I can now enjoy a hearty meal and able to chew with both sides of my jaw.
If you are thinking of having implants fitted, do your homework and have your questions ready for the dentist. To have an implant fitted is going to take at least three months largely because of the time to heal but I found the whole thing pain free and worth the wait. I had forgotten how good it was to chew my food and the result is aesthetically pleasing.
The attention to detail and my health care was just fantastic , I was intially apprehensive about inplants but with Rory's care and attention I found the whole experience realtively starightforward and painless
I only wish I had had this surgery a long time a ago , not for cosmetic reasons but to have full confidence and comfort of all my teeth
If you are considering implants I would recommend you seeking advice from this practice where the staff are so helpful in all departments of the praactice
A very big thank you to Rory and the Kingswy Team for my recent successful and genuinely valuable treatment
The male dentist upstairs I would avoid as he didn't seem to care how much pain he caused.
Filling dropped out before Christmas, girls on reception were brilliant and even fitted me in for an emergency appointment. Last night a cherry stone in my mother-in-laws scone, shattered another tooth, yet again, the reception team have managed to fit me in. I'm also one of those that hates going, so following my last experience, the team have also sorted me to see the same dentist Mr Everard, who put me at ease last time and boxed me off with minimum fuss and no pain. In times when we are forced to listen to extended recorded phone messages and wait for months and months for various appointments, it's refreshing to have a dental practice that have quickly readjusted following COVID and are looking after their patients so well. Thank you
Great job, thanks.
