Chester Dental Clinic

While I was registered here, was constantly being pushed to see a "specialist" (including for a root canal that they didn't want to do because it "needed to be private" - just ignoring the fact that root canal is available on the NHS).
I was switched dentists with no explanation.
I had three appointments cancelled on me (including one where I took the afternoon at work, arrived at the dentists to be told that my dentist was off sick (I received no phone call or offer to see one of the other dentists).
Yet, when I cancelled an appointment (I had to leave a voicemail as no one picked up) then tried to book a couple of days later, I was told that I was no longer a patient there as I had cancelled three appointments -- completely ignoring the fact that I was in the middle of a root canal (a different one as they were still refusing to do the other one) that had already involved FIVE visits. I received no warning that they would do this - I would have to assume that I was taking up time away from more lucrative private patients (I have always needed a considerable amount of work on my teeth).
AVOID!

another £70 down the drain, they charge you £70 to say you need a tooth out then tell you they can do it a dentist who cant extract a tooth really im not joking they can take £70 off you again, but cant extract a tooth.
You could not make it up i wish i was but im not im also in agony looking for a real dentist

DISGUSTING PLACE AND PEOPLE STAY AWAY, not fit for practice. lucas was only decent dentist there and now he's gone it's gone absolutely disgusting to the point I had to get my doctor to help me in the end, the staff are just rude, they will do absolutely nothing to help even when u have an infection and are in pain u still have to fight for them to help. Worse dentist ever in chester.

Phoned them to book an appointment only to be told that I am not registered with them any more, would it be nice to at least let me know before removing me?

I cant recommend this practice enough!! always been brilliant with me and my family i have a phobia of dentists and the new one iv seen the past twice is brilliant also the assistant is great they explained everything and put me at ease and didnt rush me let me stop if i needed i cant thank them enough they have made my teeth so much better

Twice this year I have arrived for pre booked appointments with a 4yo and a baby to find the surgery closed to patients. I have submitted a complaint but had no response.

Unbelievably poor service. Booked a check up appointment (which took me 23 calls to get through) I was told that the clinic charged me incorrectly for a retainer I had 18months before, management was due to call me, I am still waiting for that call. Everyone there is rude, unhelpful and quite clearly do not care. They also tried to sell me Invisalign's, I had braces as a child. DO NOT GO HERE.

I rated them one star because I cant go lower than that. I got a filling which came out 2 months later and the pain on my tooth was constant. I managed to get another appointment after days of contacting them and trying to explain my reasons. I went back and the dentist was awful. I was in too much pain during the process, he didnt even bother to properly clean the tooth before re-filling it and went back home in excruciating pain that lasted for weeks. Had to get another dentist from a different dental care to sort the problem out. I am never ever ever going back to chester dental clinic, ever!
