Irish, King & Associates Dental Practice

I've been a patient here since childhood and have always brought my daughter here too.
Staff are friendly and really get to know you, taking a genuine interest and really caring about looking after you.
Aidan is a first class dentist and he is able to fill a tooth with no discomfort at all, even the injections don't hurt. I think I've only needed two fillings in the last ten years or so, which is testament to the advice and instruction given by him and by Lucy, who is an extremely diligent and conscientious hygienist.
I would recommend this surgery to anyone, particularly if you have children because you and they will feel completely at ease and relaxed. My daughter's first two or three appointments were spent sitting on my lap in the chair, and only when she was comfortable with the idea on the next appointment did Aidan look inside her mouth. Any worries she'd had about going to the dentist were dismissed gently over time, at her own pace and as a result she never worries about going, she listens to and follows the advice given and consequently has beautiful teeth.
I'm as picky and demanding as the next person, but only have good things to say about the surgery, staff, care provided and all other aspects; I encourage anyone to register here as I believe you will not find a better practice.

Excellent experience. I've taken my two children to this practice and have been seen by Mr King (who is Irish...not My Irish) both times. He is phenomenal with kids, puts them right at ease. He spoke to my 5 yr old like a grown up, elicited a history without me having to say a thing. I believe he really responded to this. I have since moved house, and there are 2 dentists closer. I will continue to bring my kids to Irish & King.

Took my son for his first check up, (he has been refusing to go to the dentist since a previous bad experience at another practice)
As soon as we arrived at Irish, Kings Practice I could see my son relax. It has a nice waiting area, we were greeted by a lovely, friendly receptionist. The dentist Aidan and dental nurse Claire, were friendly too and immediately put my son at ease . He had a thorough check up and cleaning off of plaque. Aidan explained everything at just the right level for my son to understand and we left happy as my son has lost his fear of the dentist and had nice clean, bright teeth again. My 3 daughters have their first appointment next week and after my son told them about his experience they are actually looking forward to going to the dentist! What a fantastic team, I cant speak highly enough of them!

I don’t trust some professions, but Dr King has been my dentist since I was a child. Always honest and excellent care of my teeth. I highly recommend him and his surgery. Out standing👌⭐️🦷⭐️👍

Phil, Aidan & the whole team are just awesome! I've been looked after by these guys since I was a little nipper..(30 years ago!) They are professional, kind & so helpful. They go above & beyond to help their patients! They really do!!! I've been in absolute agony on a few occasions with an abscess etc... When i was a teenager, Phil once stayed on after work to help me as I was desperate...& another time recently, Aidan squeezed me in between his other patients to help me...(even though my dentist was the NHS dentist upstairs.)

I had an infected wisdom tooth, but couldn't go to the dentist due to Covid. I messaged Aidan on their Facebook page, and he called me back straight away and prescribed me antibiotics over the phone. They were amazingly helpful and friendly, and didn't charge me for their time. I'll certainly be visiting the practice for a check-up when it's allowed.

After failing to get an appointment with the NHS for unbearable tooth pain, I gave Dr Irish a call to see if he could help. He went out his way to help me and I am not in any pain anymore. He also made me feel very comfortable while I was having my treatment. Excellent service and thank you so much

Phoned with an enquiry and was told they don't take any new patients on which is fine. However, the receptionist was quite rude and abrupt. We understand they don't need our business but they can still be nice.
