My dentist is very skilled and professional and always puts me at ease.
The staff are friendly and welcoming.
I would certainly recommend.
An excellent dental practice.
I'll add that the practice was very easy to locate straight off the A38.
Moved away, and have come back. Left back in 2015 due to them cancelling appointments with short notice due to their staff issues (see other reviews).
Returned in 2020, was told by a lovely dentist that I needed 2 crowns and a filling, then covid happened.
Returned in September 2021, to a male dentist (who has now left to start his own practice - seems to be a common occurance - cant hold on to the good dentists - maybe something to do with the owners?! - will come to that in a moment) who then said the previous dentist was wrong, I dont need crowns at all and a couple of fillings will be able to sort this out.
Booked for today, 1st October. This left me rather confused...
Well. Quel surprise. The male dentist has now left the practice to start his own practice...
Go upstairs, and its a lady dentist... Who then starts doing a check-up, which I thought was strange because this is what was done previously. When I queried this im abruptly told that because it was a previous dentist and the notes are not 100% correct she needs to do it again. I agreed to continue.
The lady dentist then switches her role from a dentist to dietician and to tell me, and not in a nice way I may add, and broken english that its my fault I have cavities. Ummmm, I know this - thats why im here?!
Sorry, but if this lady dentist (which I now know is the owners wife/partner) would have spoken to me in a more professional way, rather than the muffled pigeon english shes chooses to use then I might have changed my views.
She then proceeded to argue with me over the dates of me visiting the practice. This then continued downstairs in the waiting room when the surprised Receptionist saw me come downstairs...
At the end of the day, you've lost a patient AGAIN - I left in 2015 because of living outside the region but carried on coming here but because you cancelled twice on me with very short notice I couldnt rely on the practice... Funny how when I needed to cancel due me having a family emergency I was told I would be charged a cancellation fee! Disgusting.
Please be aware, the staff on Reception are lovely, and so are the dental nurses, who the lady there today must have been extremely embarrased to have to stand there today and witness a dentist and patient having an argument.
Luckily, there were no other patients in the waiting room at the time to witness this...
If this lady's patronising attitude had been different and no so abrupt and then confrontational, then I'd still be a patient and not writing this review!
Im sure ill get some kind of snotty response back from Mr Sabzevari... Thats fine, there are plenty of other dentists around and I wont have to sit watching pictures of your holiday photos in Reception.
A sad end to visiting a dentist I have done for 40 years.
