I've had my braces done here, and Lars and his team are so professional and highly recommended by our friends - rightly so!

I was having the best treatment ever at Lars Orthodontics. Very professional, competent and prompt service in a great relaxing environment. From the very first consultation it was well explained how the treatment will look like and what the costs will be. The staff is always client oriented and really happy happy to help. I definitely recommend Lars if you would like to have the best smile in the area. Thank you Lars & The Team!

**Edit**
I had a problem with the retention wire which was dealt very efficiently with. I had a complaint on the pricing of the procedure, but Lars has been extremely helpful in addressing it.

I booked an appointment by calling through and speaking to "Jenny" who gave me the sales pitch of the century which I fell for.
I felt totally let down by the service. Here's the key points, in relative shortness:

1. I was told consultation was over £100 which I had mulled over and deemed acceptable. I was hounded for this payment by a barrage of unapologetically demanding calls right up till the days before my first appointment.
I'm guessing they've had issues with no-payments in the past. This 'hounding' made me reluctant to pay a company I have never used before as it seemed 'shady', for want of a better word.
Note to Lars: Don't hold all customers liable because of your past issues.

2. I wasn't ever told by the sales pitch-astute receptionist there would be more than one consultation.
Lars persuaded me to book a second meeting - without which, I could not go forward - and which he only brought up during the first meeting (and after I had paid, and BEFORE stepping foot into the building for the very first time), whereby he would arrange to do an X-ray - which only HE can deliver. Can't get it done by our little one's NHS dentist. He wanted over £100 for this too.

Makes me wonder what other hidden costs they will spring upon me. It's no surprise they want to clarify whether your child "goes to a private school" on the paperwork! Strangely, they don't care whether they board there (parents live remotely), or attend as day-children.

3. Before my very first meeting, pitch-friendly-Karen gave me an estimated figure to expect for what we were after. This was "about" £4000 for our school-aged child, who didn't have any major teeth issues that Lars noticed except for misalignment, according to him.

4. The lady that sat in with our first meeting, at the very end, quipped that the total cost would be almost £2000 higher with no change to our original request.

She looked upon us with an air of superiority which I can only put down to micro-aggression, right from the very offset.
I hope, they can fix this as it's not acceptable, not anymore, and never was but far too many people got away with it.

"ABOUT" £4500 was a promising figure to get the punters through the door and pushed aggressively to pay up, for wasting our own time. There was no explanation why the figure was much higher.

If it wasn't for the superiority-complex of the female meeting attendee; and Lars continually mislabelling me as a member of a certain ethnic group - when i'm actually English - I might have convinced myself to have our little one treated here without a doubt.
Just terrible service from what could have been totally different from a customer service standpoint.

Very excited to start my treatment at this particular orthodontics. I had 18 months treatment prior with the brace place, in which was a in and out service like a factory, braces on etc always a full waiting room sometimes with no where to sit. You were not taken care of there its a budgeted place that the money is given to by the government. Anyway this is a fanominal place with top service, lovely smiley workers and hope for me to finally get that perfect smile and bite i have been longing for and in good time aswell.
