Been part of this dentist for many years, since I was a child, apparently, I had missed two appointments, but only missed the most recent one due to mental health, they removed me from the books, after explaining they just didn't care, they also removed my mum for the most idiotic reason. think at this stage they're trying to remove every NHS patient. avoid.

Worst dentist I have ever been to. I paid cash and because the receptionist that day didn’t cash up properly they called me a month later and tried to make me pay again. I went in and asked them to check their records and their accounting was so poor they couldn’t. I will never go here again and the only reason they kicked me out when I went in to follow up on the money they tried to exhort out of me for a service that was mediocre at best was because the office manager couldn’t be bothered to help me. I waited 30 minutes until I was finally told not to worry about it because they would rather lose a customer than check their records. Disgusting.

I was told to call at 08:30 to GET an emergency appointment i was 2nd in the call Que to be told all the emergency appointments have been taken! I have 3 exposed roots and a Molar hanging on by a thread that's dangling under an absess, im in like immense pain! Medical care in the UK has now become a JOKE since covid! Really has they wonder why there's more and more people performing home extractions and causing themselves injury!! Like me!

WARNING! There are a lot of 1 star reviews for this dentist - take note. We need more dentists in the country but maybe one less - Dr Oyvind Person. I hope this review helps others to make the good decision to find a better dentist.

Everyone is friendly enough, the building is a bit run down/dirty/in need or refurbishment. Maybe they're in need of up to date training. Maybe if your teeth are perfect to start with they'll be adequate. However if you have any problems and don't want to make them worse, go elsewhere.

For the most part, the service has been mostly pitiful with condescending dentists offering unreliable work with the exception of the single, most recent full-time dentist who has since gone private. The admin staff and this last dentist have been the only redeeming features for this location, however the IDH group need to re-evaluate their timeframes, stating last week that the dentist would close on December 31st, and has instead suddenly shut on November 4th, leaving many with outstanding treatment in the lurch.

Left waiting outside in the cold for over half an hour. We knocked & rang x3. No one answered the door. We should've left, but were desperate to see a dentist.
We could hear, from outside, a patient yelling in a lot of pain.

Receptionist was rude and sullen. Assumed she'd had a bad day, so I was extra kindly. It made no difference.

Dentist gave a cursory check (5 mins) and didn't ask anything significant. Friendly enough. Two years since my last check, because of Covid, so felt sure I'd need a bit of a clean. Nothing. Now worried that my teeth aren't fine at all.

I paid and am now being chased by the the NHS because a claim for free treatment was made. I've shown proof of payment, but would like to know how this happened.

Left waiting outside for almost half an hour, as we needed to sign forms beforehand, despite knocking. No one was inside. A woman comes to the door as our appointment is meant to start, telling us there's a 5 minute delay. Rude, passive aggressive, impatient and opaque about how she wanted the forms filled out.

Instead of a 5 minute delay, there was a 10 minute one. She brought in the wrong form (my mum's) and then got shirty with me when I politely said that wasn't mine, claiming it was intentional and she needed to make two trips to bring both from the desk.

The dentist himself was great, very professional and helpful. Can't rate him enough!

Most disappointing dentist I have ever visited. My first appointment with them was extremely brief, lasted about 5 minutes in total. I felt the dentist barely looked at my teeth, I complained of pain in some teeth and he glanced at them and said they’re fine. Then I complained about sensitivity in my teeth and he gave me no help guidance or explanation with this at all. Was trying to get me out of the door as quickly as possible. I then complained and was asked to come back again free of charge to check over the tooth I had complaints with. I sent a photo over beforehand and he said it would need a filling so I paid a £25 deposit for this treatment. When i actually got there he said I don’t really need the filling but I can have it if I want. He gave no clear information on the advantages or disadvantages of having it done there and then so I decided to leave it and have booked in with another dental practice to sort it out instead. Was told I could have a refund for the £25 deposit paid but not on the day as the manager wasn’t in and I would get a call the next day to process the refund. Never got a call and after calling them myself they’ve told me I can’t have a refund as it was for the PPE costs, but this was not what they told me on the day!? Extremely unorganised and really unhappy with the service provided. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!
