Lomond Dental Care

Really good dentists. Feel at ease even though I get a bit nervous.

First appointment as a new registrant with the practice today (Dentist: Andrew). Very thorough examination and all findings explained fully. I wasn't happy with my previous dentist (despite him having lots of high-tech toys...3D scanners, wand anaesthesia etc.), so decided to change and I'm so glad I did! I now feel confident that I have found a dentist whose opinion and advice I trust! Highly recommended. Thank you Andrew!

I asked for an appointment to see the dentist during March 2018 as part of my tooth had chipped off. The receptionist advised me that I could see the therapist for a dressing or wait two weeks to see the dental surgeon. I said I would wait as the pain wasn't too bad at that point. I also made an appointment for my husband for a check up so we could go together as we live over 20 miles away.
Today after waiting two weeks, we attended Lomond dental care.The wait at reception wasn't a problem. When I was called in for my treatment I soon realised that it was a therapist and not a dental surgeon who was examining my teeth when she offered to do a temporary dressing. I explained that I was there for treatment by the dentist, hence my two week wait. The therapist was quite abrupt in informing me that my previous lady dentist had left so I couldn't have made an appointment to see her. I was shocked and replied that I hadn't specified a dentist, just that I didn't need or want temporary treatment. At this point she was very rude and just repeated herself drilling home the fact that my previous dentist had left! I chose to leave at this point with no treatment. On entering reception I discovered that they had made an appointment for my husband hours later that afternoon, but said that he could see a dentist anyway.
We both chose to leave and take our business elsewhere.

Always excellent service from Angela Harkins and team. Dentistry should always be like this with friendly staff, excellent customer service and most importantly professional treatment.

Wouldn't recommend, gave me a fillin and I've had nothing but problems with my tooth ever since! Went there about my front tooth thinking I had an abscess and instead of taking an x-ray of the tooth, he poked and proded at it and gave me an abscess!! Wanted to do a root canal, fair to say I didn't go back
