Beynon Dental Surgery

I phoned last week needing a front-tooth chip filled. I was offered an appointment later that week, but could only make today. I was seen by a lovely female dentist Sarah who fixed my tooth beautifully and took the time to answer my questions about how I could make general dental improvements. She was professional and caring, and explained various options without any hard sell.

The surgery is run efficiently and my appointment was on time. It is scrupulously clean and the reception staff are friendly and helpful. There's no parking but the Embassy car park is nearby, I just have to remember to leave a bit early to get there on time.

Although I'm an NHS paying patient, I was dreading how much it was going to cost me for a front-tooth white filling today. I was so happy to be charged £13-50 - the emergency fee.

They accepted myself and my children as nhs patients. The staff are brilliant with my kids made them feel calm and relaxed. They have given me better dental treatment than my last dentist and the surgery is clean and tidy 👍

First class dental practice. The receptionists are very professional and do everything possible to fit you in to a time slot to meet your requirements. Prices are in line with most other dental practices. Not easy to get in as a NHS patient but no problem if going private.

As a family we have been going to James for years!! He makes the dentist a calm & positive experience for both my children. We would highly recommend him.

As always excellent dental work by Dr James Beynon. Very courteous, polite staff. Been going here many years and always very friendly and professional.

Extremely pleasant visit, David was very patient and understanding to my past experiences and the dental nurse equally. He explained to me exactly what needed to be done in a depth I wanted to know. I can't put into words how at ease I was made to feel. As a private patient, the fees were very good. I would recommend David and the wonderful ladies at the desk in a heartbeat. If you haven't got a dentist or are needing to transferring, if you're a patient with a fear of dentists and getting lectured, you won't get it here. private is definitely worth going just for the peace of mind it brings and the reasonable fees involved as well as the speed in which you'll be done with your treatments!

EDIT: I have recently been for 3 visits including cosmetic fillings, and the service was as good if not better each time. Managed to get 4 fillings done in about 40 minutes, was fully numbed up and was very relaxed. Didn't need to grip the armrest during the visit at all it was that relaxing! I was made to bite on what felt like some kind of paper to make sure that my bite was comfortable, to eliminate the need to have to go back if it affects my bite adversely. Within 4 hours, it was as though I'd never had the visit but I fell a lot better about my teeth now :) Best thing I ever did.

Nice and clean dentist but unfortunately the service wasn't up to standard. Had a emergency appointment at this dentist and when I got in the chair I told them about my pain levels and swelling and what I thought it was and was told that they couldn't see anything wrong apart from potentially food getting stuck next to a tooth so just rinse and floss regular.
4 hours later I ended up having to go to hospital as advised by the NHS helpline with major swelling and a abscess that was so big it starting to make my eye close up and pulling my gum away from my teeth.
Apart from that the service by the ladies on the desk was impeccable but I will be avoiding this dentist from now on
