Bupa Dental Care Lincoln - The Strait

I have been attending this dentist for probably around 30 years. Up until my previous dentist retired, I was always very satisfied with the service. However, now, I have had a cavity since December ‘21 and believed this was going to be resolved when an appointment was made for me in April ‘22. Nope, it was just a check up and I now have to wait until late may to resolve this. I’m sure my old dentist wouldn’t have left a cavity like this.

I was referred to this dentist for a root extraction as I am afraid of dentist. I had the most amazing and caring team care for me today. The dentist was so patient and his dental nurse was an absolute gem. She was chatting away to me to keep me calm while the novocaine kicked in. The whole process took 30 seconds and NO PAIN!!! I would happily use this dentist again, he earned my trust and restored my faith. Not all heroes wear capes and this chap was my hero today. I would like to say that the reception staff were so friendly and polite and such hard working ladies. As soon as they hang up they take another call immediately. I am a motability scooter user and I found the place easy to visit and navigate with a ramp to allow access down the inside corridor. A huge thanks to the whole team, I am 100% happy with my visit with you today xx

I have had nothing but excellent service, from reception to the manager, everyone is friendly and welcoming. Ana has just repaired my sons front tooth and she and the all the nurses always make it a relaxed and we are usually laughing! I wanted to put names on this review but it's every single person at the practice. I'd recommend this practice to anyone.

The staff at The Strait are very efficient and friendly, it's rarely a pleasant experience a visit to the Dentist but they put you at ease and make the visit as comfortable as possible. The Dentist Ana is absolutely wonderful her attention to detail is first rate and I defy anybody to feel poorly after one of Ana's smiles, Thank you Ana.

If I could, I would give 12 stars. I’m a child of the 60/70’s when dentists were paid by the filling. So my childhood dentist took out and refilled my teeth for years. As an adult, I have crumbling back teeth and have had quite a few removed. Anas Nashawi removed this tooth in the quickest, least painful, least distressing way I’ve EVER had. I couldn’t believe it! So fast, so kindly, so competently that I have ever known. The dentist nurses were also brilliant- chatted to keep my nerves at bay, gave concise post removal advice and were just generally lovely. I would recommend this team whole heartedly. Absolutely brilliant!

I have been going to there for 25 years and I have the same dentist who is amazing. I have a rare health condition and they were brilliant and really supported me.

I really wanted to share my praise of the excellent customer service delivered by your members of staff today during my appointment today. I had my first experience of both anaesthesia and tooth extraction. I have anxiety attending dental appointments normally, so this appointment caused me to feel extremely anxious and nervous, but the Dentist and practitioners were outstanding in their care and handling of my worries. The female practitioner in particular noticed I was uncomfortable very quickly and in fact held my hand and used breathing techniques with me during both the injection of anaesthetic, as well as during the tooth extraction itself. Additionally, the Dentist reassured me that I didn't have to proceed and gave me alternative options which I fully appreciated. I should also add that the receptionists also reassured me of this support when I initially booked the appointment, so it was a great customer service journey start to finish.
If I ever am unfortunate enough to have to have another tooth extraction in the future, I would 100% feel confident to return to this practice. Thabk you very much.

This place fills you with such confidence. The team are wonderful. The dental practise is very clean. Made my son feel very safe by explaining each step of the process to him. Absolutely fantastic team work within the surgery. Lovely to witness.
