Southcroft Dental Practice

I have been a patient here for a while and would never go anywhere else. An excellent dentist and the practice staff are lovely. Very good for nervous patients like me. I trust the dentist 100% and can honestly say that my teeth and gums are better than they have been in years.

Such a lovely friendly place. From the Receptionist to the Dentist, they make everyone at ease. They couldn't have been nicer, while still complete professionals. They make going to the dentist joy and are clearly experts in their fields. Couldn't recommend enough!!

I've been going to Southcroft dental since moving to London, and I am completely satisfied with the service I have received.

I came to the surgery after getting frustrated with the call queues and long waits for other surgeries, as Southcroft dental got back to me the same day I emailed them, and booked me an appointment within a few days.

When it came to treatment NHS and private options were always given, and the pros and cons of each were explained in a great level of detail. Decisions were never pressured, and the option to go away and consider everything was always explicitly given, which helped put my mind at ease.

I decided to opt for private treatment at the practice, and I was extremely happy with the experience. After hearing horror stories from family about the treatment I needed I was nervous going in, but the entire treatment proceeded extremely smoothly, and I experienced absolutely zero pain or discomfort. All the staff were polite and friendly at all times.

Follow-up appointments were extremely easy to book, with the time/date being based around when was convenient for me, rather than when there was availability. Compared to the other practices I contacted this was very nice to experience.

In response to some of the other reviews here about Dr D'Souza's recommendations for private treatment, I was also shocked at first at some of the prices as I have never opted for private care before. However, upon researching prices at other clinics, I found these prices were very standard. I never felt pressured into opting for private treatment, and he was always happy to answer my calls and emails asking for more information. After numerous personal and family experiences dealing with public health/dental care, I was very happy to just have the treatment I needed without delay or frustration.

Overall I was very satisfied with my experience at Southcroft dental and will be returning to the practice for any future treatment.

Today was my first visit to this dentist practice. The staff were so polite and gave me a warm welcome. The dental surgeon Mr K D’Souza has got to be one the first dentist that I have come across in all my years of visiting dentists that is so genuine for the care of his patients he gives his utmost honest opinion on the care of your teeth. I have paid for private dental treatment in the pass who have literally charged me for treatment but just dealt with resolving the issue but never considering the long term effect their after. However Mr D’Souza is very honest in his opinions and he is not just saying it to receive payment for treatment and with his 30+ of expertise in dentistry he is the only dentist that made me feel so confident when it came to my teeth. (It not about the money but the long last care for your teeth) I personally won’t hesitate to pay for treatment done by him. If you want a dentist that will give you his honest opinion whether it is good or bad news try Mr D’Souza, I have decided to stay with Mr D’Souza. I recommend anyone that want a good honest dentist Mr D’Souza is the man to see.

very unfriendly dentist: went to this practice after moving to the area and having toothache. Dentist told me what work I need to get my teeth sorted out, including root canal, crown, tooth out etc and also said I had a small infection. I was registered as a NHS patient but he told me he would only do the work privately which is exactly not what it says on the NHS dental website. I"m horrified that because I guess he thought I could afford to pay he uses the guise of picking up new NHS patients to cherry pick ones he thinks will pay for private treatment. this was this week, will be reporting this practice for such outrageous behaviour.

Always professional, friendly and honest. This has been my dental surgery my entire life. All treatments are expertly carried out.

Very happy about the service I got, the staff is very friendly and open. They will answer to all your question also advice if you feel you need one.

Well done to all the team, you all make feel very comfortable even when we all know that Dentist is not a place you can feel "comfortable"😅🤭.
