I called up about a tooth infection which spread to my tonsils. My face was swollen and had a fever In the night. My gums were swollen and I had really bad pain. Only to be told the next appointment Is 1 month later. It was pretty obvious all I needed was antibiotics but they couldn't do anything sooner. Instead I called 111 and was contacted by a dentist who was able to perscribe me antibiotics as my symptoms clearly indicated an infection - all within 3 hours. This service was from my registered dentist was simply not good enough. More options should be provided for patients with an urgent situation. Just because it's NHS it does not mean you give an inadequate service to your patients. I will be changing dentists.

Was recommended by a friend as I wanted to get my teeth whitened. Pleasant experience. Friendly staff. Clean practice.

Went back 6 months later to get Invisalign but frustratingly appointment was cancelled on short notice, however they let me know it was because dentist went on early paternity leave so can’t fault them as this is life!

They’ve rebooked me and I hope all is well with the baby!

Don't bother registering with this dentist, he claimed to not be able to give check up appointments due to covid, still, up until just this month. Now the dentist has cancelled the appointments due to paternity leave without warning and without arranging any cover. I have been waiting years now for a simple check up. Dentist used to be good but seems to have lost interest.

I am very happy with the service I receive at this dental practice. Such a lovely team. The receptionist is always willing to listen to you and is very helpful. The dentist is great and very attentive and and their lovely nurse is always there to make you feel calm and is very caring.

Few month back I had crazy cold that resulted in not being able to open my jaw without being in absolute agony. I could not chew anything or drink without being in horrible pain. My GP insisted that it is a dental issue and not up to her to offer any medication - even though I was in a unbelievable amount of pain for days and my teeth were not hurting - there was no emergency dental appointments in my original dentist at Clapton Dental Surgery and earliest they could see me was 6 month time - I have remembered that my partner has previously registered me at Homerton Dental care few years back so in desperation I have called in - although they did not had any appointments free the receptionist said she will call me back to see if she can create a slot for me. She did and I was seen next day - I did not had any dental issues and after check up I have insisted on antibiotics that helped straightaway (I still had to argue that one out with GP who was still convicted that it was a dental issue). Staying now with Homerton Dental Care and transferred my child there too. Clapton Dental Surgery just canceled my check up appointment that was booked 6 month ago. I have managed to book in a check up with Homerton Dental care for early September and receptionist there is lovely.

Useless. I tried calling and nobody picked up. I wrote to them on the website saying that I need a dental check up and for the second time they responded with "we don't take new NHS patients" like did I ask you if you take NHS patients? I need a damm check up even if its NHS or private. My problem will not go away and I can't call 111 unless it's urgent.

Really nice dental surgery. I’ve honestly never dealt with a more helpful receptionist. From my initial call she was friendly, accommodating and professional. She gave me a call back at a suitable time to get my first appointment booked in, which considering it’s a busy practise with only one person on the front desk is pretty impressive. I was made feel welcome from the second I arrived, no waiting for my appointment. The dentist and the dental nurse were both lovely. I look forward to going back - something I never thought I’d say about a dental surgery!
