I went to look up their phone number as I am away and don't have it with me. I have seen the 2 negative reviews here and can only say that I am very surprised as both my wife and son as well as my elderly mother have been clients here for some years now and can only say that they have been excellent. Before joining I went to a private and expensive dentist in Teddington. He had said I needed three fillings. I was dubious and didn't want to pay an extortionate amount and joined this surgery. The dentist said I didn't require any fillings at all. This was about 5 years ago and I have had no issues with the areas the other dentist had highlighted. I have no issue with rudeness at all-quite the opposite-polite and charming.

I have used Amber Dental for 7 years and would highly recommend them.
Getting an appointment can take a number of days, but most NHS do.
The staff are helpful and the dentist is clearly very competent + a good guy to talk through what needed/concerns etc

I'm not a huge fan of dentists, but I think this dentist is good. I have never had a negative experience in 10+ years of being a patient there.

The only drawback is that with there only being one dentist, there will be times when you just can't get an appointment.

ps I was surprised to see 1* reviews. One of the 1* reviews seems implausible - the dentist, whilst testing for numbness, made cuts so bad in the gum that stitches were needed. Smells a bit fishy to me.

Excellent experience, kind courteous dentist, explained everything thoroughly and allowed me to ask questions. Helped me to overcome my phobia of dental treatment. I would thoroughly recommend him

The young Irish dentist is very good. She is kind and gentle and sorted my fillings as painlessly as was possible. Professional and calm, does not rush you.

I was really pleased with Amber dentist. The receptionist was very helpful. The dentist was excellent at fixing my root canal on my tooth. I would definitely recommend.

AWFUL - DO NOT RECOMMEND! Insanely, we’ve stuck with this dentist for over 10 years and the number of incidents we’ve had is unbelievable. Firstly, when my mother went to get a crown fitted, the dentist CRACKED HER TOOTH. The tooth died and she had to have extensive repairs done. Furthermore, whilst less extreme, I have noticed a blatant snobbishness against those who are treated on the NHS. I went to have a filling in my front tooth replaced and when the dentist was about to use a yellow filling, I complained that I would like the colour to match my tooth (seeing as it is at the very front). He said that I shouldn’t be asking because I was “only” an NHS patient and wasn’t paying privately. I insisted and eventually he gave in and gave me a filling that matched my tooth colour. Within a month the filling had fallen out and in total he had to redo it THREE times. The fourth time I gave up and had it done at a different dentist. The new dentist, who was excellent, commented on the shoddy work of my previous dentist. She was also shocked when she saw that I had worn down my teeth from night grinding and had never had it mentioned or treated. DO NOT RECOMMEND and DEFINITELY don’t go if you’re “only an NHS patient”.

I wish I could give zero stars, the dentist Paramjit Panesar, must be the worst dentist I have come across. I booked a check up for my two sons, and he spent less than two minutes on both. My older son’s teeth has quite a lot plaque around his gums but the dentist didn’t do anything, he refused to scrape it away, he just told us to brush it off which of course will not work. He checked my younger boy’s teeth, taking less than 30 seconds, certainly not showing the care and attention you would expect for a child’s teeth. And we waited 6 weeks for this 2 minute appointment! Unfortunately this is the second time we have experienced this total lack of patient care from this dentist. We won’t be returning.
