Hoburne Dental Practice

I can highly recommend this dental practice. I initially joined as a nervous patient and the care, compassion and warmth I was greeted with was incredible. I’ve since gone on to have Invisalign treatment with the practice and have been delighted with the results. I felt well informed and cared for throughout my treatment and I have nothing but praise for the team who are incredibly friendly, professional and great at what they do. Thank you for taking away my fear of the dentist and for always putting me at ease. I will be a patient for life now and always recommend you to others!

Can’t recommend this dentist highly enough. I have always received first class customer service here. Am always greeted with a friendly smile and welcome by the reception staff and have always had fantastic service from my dentist Pete. My teeth were quite out of alignment and was recommended Invisalign as I didn’t want fixed braces or teeth taken out. After careful thought I decided to go ahead and am so glad I did. I’m so happy with my results. My teeth are perfectly straight and after a little teeth whitening they are the best they have ever looked. Great dental practice with friendly helpful staff and top class dentists.

After a lifetime of NHS dentistry in various parts of the country, I consulted Peter around 3 years ago regarding the possibility of an implant to replace a missing incisor. Although he would happily have carried out the implant work, he suggested that a bridge would be the better option. I took his advice and opted for a bridge. The results were so much better than the nasty denture it superseded as it felt completely natural, looked realistic and I could once again taste my food properly.

I have remained with the practice and I have found Peter to be a careful and exacting Dental Surgeon who works to a high standard. I have since received from him a couple of crowns, another piece of bridge work to replace a missing molar and in the last year I have had two implants to replace molars which were beyond repair. I may possibly be pushing my luck when I say that for the first time in many years I no longer have fillings and bits of teeth crumbling away on an annual basis, but I can only add that all the work that has been done thus far has stayed in place and has been mainly pain-free!

I see Kelly the hygienist, 2 or three times a year and she can always be relied upon to give good advice and point out the areas I have been neglecting. I must say that her work too has been mainly pain-free.

This is a clean, tidy and modern dental practice with knowledgeable, helpful, professional people and friendly receptionists who do their level best to make a trip to the dentist an altogether better experience.

I have been a patient at Hoburne for about 10 years and find all the team helpful and friendly. When you arrive at reception you are greeted by friendly reception staff if you are a nervous patient the reception staff will soon calm you down. I am first time patient of Hoburne Dental Practice. I have always suffered with a very severe dental anxiety, and I have long been looking for a place to have my teeth fixed. I knew I required extensive work including 2 extractions and several fillings.

I plucked up the courage to visit my local dentist, and found them to be very cold, uncaring and rushed for time. They were very keen to have me in and out, and they provided me with no reassurance.

I heard of Matthew Leadbitter through a Dental Anxiety website, and thought I would visit him. The experience with Matthew at Hoburne was night and day from anything else I'd experienced. He had all the time in the world from me, he was very polite, friendly and incredibly sensitive to my fears.

I booked an appointment for my extraction and I was very scared to say the least. I was given plenty of reassurance, he gave me all the time in the world to be a big baby, and he worked at a pace I was comfortable with.

Seeing Matthew has done a world of good for my dental confidence and I will be going back in 2 weeks time for my next extraction. I'm still very nervous, and I certainly won't be sprinting in there with a smile on my face, but knowing that I'm in the hands of Matthew and his nurse really does provide me with peace of mind. I can finally see myself coming out the other side.

But it wasn't just Matthew that made the experience much nicer. The receptionists were all smiley and very friendly. Even if your appointment is just a few minutes later than expected, they are there apologising and offering you a drink or having a chat with you.

I really can't speak highly enough of my experience. I will always visit Hoburne for any future work.

Really good dentists. Everyone is friendly and kind. I'm terribly nervous and anxious once in the dentists chair, and they have helped me to have treatments that I needed. I'm proud to say I now attend a dentists, which I hadn't been able to do for 10 years, as I was so scared. Both my husband and I are really impressed, thank you.

Cannot recommend this dentist enough. I am extremely anxious about the dentist, however Hoburne has changed that on the very first visit! Matthew and his nurse were fantastic, put me at ease straight away, so down to earth and very good at what they do. Gave me some really good information and helpful tips, and explained everything in great detail which is a huge help for me/my anxiety. We even had a bit of a laugh, which is unheard of for me at the dentist!!!!
The ladies on reception were lovely too. I didn’t feel rushed at all and felt like they all really cared. Thank you so much Hoburne Dental!
