Bupa Dental Care Southgate Street, Winchester

Absolutely shocking practice. In the last 12 months, quite literally every appointment I’ve had booked in has been either cancelled or moved. After spending literary thousands with this practice on dental care, I’ve now been left without being seen for so long that I now have lost a tooth. Avoid at all costs.

This practice are all about the money they can bake from you. Rushed and uncaring for regular check ups but will hound you regarding private treatments which make them a huge profit.

6 appts cancelled for our family of 4 over last 6 months, every time reason given the "Dentist has called in sick". So either Bupa Winchester has the sickest dentists known or they are prioritising more lucratuve appts and then not telling the truth when cancelling routine appts.

Wow, so many appointments cancelled. Can't even get an appointment now at all. They have even cancelled my daughters appointment 3 months ahead. I thought they had an obligation to see children? When she went for her last appointment we were in there less than 2 mins. I didn't even get an introduction to the dentist or a hello. Very bad service.

Dad had to go in after 111 referral had bad tooth ache very quickly removed and now pain free thank you to all for your quick and wonderful service

Brilliant service from everyone working there - very accommodating receptionist, friendly hygienist and kind and efficient dentist.
The practice is very clean, and I am made to feel safe.
The quality of service has significantly improved over the last year or so (where previously I've had appointments cancelled, and not as friendly past dentists).

I phoned the bupa dental practice at 8am and was seen within a couple of hours. With an infection needing antibiotics, I really appreciate everyone’s effort’s for helping me to feel better before Christmas arrives. Thank you to Dr Crawford and the reception team who are always really helpful, caring and compassionate. Great experience, thank you everyone.

I think this dental surgery has been taken over? I had a wonderful dentist previously at this practice but it has now changed drastically.
The dentist I saw yesterday firstly tried to sell me a plan for £3000 for straightening and whitening? My teeth are very straight! I was sat in the chair for no longer than one minute. It was then my 9 year olds turn, he checked 1 tooth and said there was a start of a cavity, he then proceeded to tell us she could eat sweets for 1 hour a week as many as she wanted? No treatment for the apparent cavity? I have never in my life been sat in a dentist chair for a minute and my daughter literally seconds. The receptionists didn't know what they were doing and it was by far the most unprofessional experience we have ever had. We are leaving the practice and will never recommend.
