The Practice at The General

I have a huge fear of needles which cumulates in a huge fear of dentist, especially given historic experiences I have had of other dentists. Since joining The Practice at The General I can go in to the dentist and have treatment without passing out! The whole experience is unlike anything I have ever had before, they genuinely have a care for you and want to make you feel relaxed and comfortable, the environment and appearance of the surgery appears to have been designed to aid this process too. I have had two root canals done and the work itself has been first class with the after care impeccable, I had a call the following day to see how I was getting on. I also took my two year old daughter who is very nervous but the team made her feel really comfortable and much to my surprise she allowed them to check her teeth! I would not go anywhere else, it’s rare to find a complete package but they have everything, world class treatment, world class facilities and world class care!

I would highly recommend The Practice at The General, after receiving a comprehensive review I went ahead with Invisalign treatment with Dr. Tristan Scott and his team. 12 months on and I have the perfect smile, whiter and perfectly aligned teeth. I'd highly recommend The Practice for anyone looking for treatment, given their professional and personal approach to dentistry, 5 stars!

Dr Tristan Scott and his team are absolutely amazing and not only strive for perfection but achieve it. From start to finish they have been friendly, accommodating and professional and the result has been outstanding.

Where do I start... I cannot recommend The Practice enough, All the family are members! Me, my husband and our two children age 7 and 9 🦷👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

My treatment was cosmetic as I have always been paranoid about my teeth after losing my front two at a young age. I ask hundreds of questions and still do now at my routine check ups and Tristan and the team always reassure me and put me and ease! I now love my smile and love seeing pictures of my pearly whites!

My husbands treatment is more complex and is not yet finished. He had issues with a back tooth that the NHS wanted to remove as it had endless infections. However, The Practice have saved this tooth and cleared it of infection. It now has a temporary bond while he completes his aligners and then it will re built. Amazing - can't wait to see the end result.

The children: having always been conscious of my own teeth I wanted my children's teeth to be in good hands. My 9 year old had an x-ray and was amazed to see all her teeth on the big screen, she asked questions and was made to feel important. My 7 year old had a slight mark on his tooth that he was already conscious of and Tristan has made him less conscious of this by working a bit of magic on it.

We travel quite far for the treatment but we wouldn't go anywhere else!

I attended the Practice at the General as an emergency patient back in March. After a painless extraction, Tristan formulated a plan of treatment for my longstanding dental problems which include chronic periodontal disease. This is very specialised treatment which is far from mainstream. I have had several appointments since then with Tristan and his staff; all have shown professionalism and kindness in the care they have provided. The facilities are modern and well designed with state of the art equipment including an in-house laboratory and the services offered cater for all aspects of dentistry; however, it is the friendly, caring and positive attitude of Tristan, Nikita and the team which make this an outstanding practice.

Tristan and the team were absolutely brilliant helping me sort out an urgent problem for my little brother. Really kind, professional, and went above and beyond to get him the treatment he needed in time. Beautiful practice too! Would recommend them for anyone looking for high quality dentistry in a friendly environment.
