Hawkins Dental & Implant Clinic

Found this practice very efficient and professional from the Reception through the Dental Nurses to the Senior staff. Had lots of work on my lower jaw by Prosthodontist Dr Mark Lester which has been excellent. Losing teeth is never a pleasant experience but Mark made it bearable. The new teeth he has supplied me with are very good indeed. Will definitely recommend the Practice and Mark to others

I trusted Doctor Lester totally, and felt that he understood how I was feeling. All of the staff were helpful and genuine. A lot of time was taken to make me feel important.

Very professional, polite and caring service from reception staff, hygienists and dentists. Few patients enjoy a visit to their dentist but Hawkins go the extra step to make it as comfortable as possible. I recommend them if you need treatment, it will be worth it.

I have been a client of this clinic for at least 10 years and have always received excellent treatment from highly professional practitioners and friendly staff who care deeply about dental health in all its guises.

All they care about is money. They charge so much more than everyone else and want you to do things which don’t need doing. They insisted on redoing a filling that was settled and fine for many years, because of a vague future risk - which instead led to the much greater and very present risk of them killing the nerve in the tooth - this led to a huge abscess developing after the filling. They failed to pick this up at a checkup 6 months later, they did not take swift action when it worsened to crisis point almost a year later (just sent me away with antibiotics that did nothing and told me they might be able to do something after Christmas) and ultimately I ended up in Birmingham Dental Hospital with early signs of Osteomyelitis. Finally got a root canal done elsewhere but even this may be too little too late. All in all this foolishness has cost me over £1000. Thanks for nothing.

The dental hygienist visit recently was wonderful; the Hygienist herself is by far the best I’ve ever visited, very sociable and understanding and attentive. Would highly recommend, Theresa is a wonderful credit to the team at Hawkins.

I was given an emergency appointment for a tooth infection and was seen by the dentist who diagnosed that I needed a root canal filling. Fortunately an appointment was available for the procedure to be carried out the next day due to a cancellation. I duly attended and the procedure was carried out and I am quite satisfied with the result - so far.
