I had an extraction at the surgery and experienced excessive bleeding. After telling the receptionist about the problem, I was told that they discussed with the dentist but only offered to use some cotton to bite on. This never helped. Knowing that they are unwilling to help, I left the dental practice and went home. The bleeding was very noticeable after several hours and I kept vomiting. Then I went to the emergence department and got treated with medications that finally stopped the bleeding. This experience was not the only thing that gave me bad impressions.

Since this incidence meant that I was unlikely to attend another appointment to carry out the fillings, I decided to cancel that appointment. When I was on the phone and said that I would like to cancel the appointment due to excessive bleeding from the extraction, the receptionist showed zero empathy and hung up immediately after cancelling my appointment without ANY greetings. I can see no way that this is not intentional. They are just not happy about cancelling appointment and treat you poorly if you do so even if it is their fault in the first instance.

I will not go to this practice again and avoid Damira as a whole in the future. They definitely need more training on how to treat customers with quality service and respect.

This is a great dental practice. The staff are always friendly, polite & respectful. It has a calm & relaxed atmosphere. It's always clean, & the staff are considerate & professional. Also, as a person who was very fearful of dentists, I've always found this place to be "less scary" than others, & it has helped me to reduce my fear of dentists quite a bit.

I am terrified of dentists, but Tham put me completely at ease and was phenomenal. I have nothing bad to say about the practice, they fit me in at short notice for an emergency appointment, the reception staff were great - so friendly and welcoming. All in all an exemplary experience and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Absolutely Fantastic!
I was given an NHS appointment same day (potentially a cancelled appointment), reception team were delightful and efficient, dental team were great and full of practical advice, and I was booked in for my next NHS check up.

Do not even think about going there!
The most horrible dentist ever, her name was Azra, she would not explain to patient what she is up to not she talks to assistant.so her assistant is same as patient confused all the time and is waiting for instructions which are never given to her. Dentist herself all she thinks about is to make a business out of patient's tooth. Horrible after three times going there to refill a filling they did for me in 2019. Gave up on them. The most horrible dentist ever!
Finally requested them to send my records to my email so that I can email it to new dentist.
I did request in writing.
Never heard anything back from them.

I have been attending this surgery for over 20 years but my last two visits as a a private patient ( not my choice to go private, it was the only way I could stay with my own dentist) were terrible. On my latest visit I was informed that my own dentist wasn't in and I would have to see a locum. There had been no communication beforehand to enable me to change my appointment and as there is no patient parking at the surgery a visit there involves 2 bus journeys and a walk so I did not want to reschedule. The clinical staff all do their best and both the hygienist and the locum dentist were fine but the management and front of house needs a radical overhaul. Communication with patients needs sorting, as does the IT system to ensure there is a link between dentist availability and the patients scheduled to see them.....I spoke to the very professional manager who had been sent in to sort things out by head office. She was helpful but the damage had already been done. On my first visit as a private patient I was kept waiting for half an hour while my dentist was required to do paperwork by the then manager....., now ex manager.

My son has ASD and social anxiety disorder. The practise has this information on their records. Yet when we went there, they were 45 minutes late for his appointment, by which time he developed a panic attack and we had to leave. The staff are very rude and need training in how to make patients with SEN. Appalling. I do not recommend it to anyone. We are changing dentists.

I am new to this practice and I had an appointment with Dr Andre. All I say he is the best doctor I ever met. His work was outstanding and pain free. He is a very rare talent! I was amazed how quickly and precisely he completed the job. I can smile again :) thank you Dr Andre!!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
