Bupa Dental Care Gaer

Love to give no stars. I never missed an appointment at this place. Despite them messing my teeth up drastically and more than they should have been.

I was kicked off the books for not turning up to an appointment, on the same day as my children. I never had an appointment when my children went, because mine were 2 to 3 weekly when receiving treatment. My fillings needed replacing 3 times before they'd stay in. Also when I had new problems. I'd essentially be up there 2 to 3 times a month so the dentist always did my regular check up on my erratic regular visits.

This practice couldn't even get my teeth out whole and easily, they had to send me to the hospital. The dentures I was given never fit. And the "implants" they never properly informed me about. They looked like normal dentures but with tiny roots. I was told the hospital would fit them, but the hospital wouldn't. It was too late on my next visit to the dentist surgery to try.

My children were kicked off the books for not going to appointments we weren't told about, and then marking appointments cancelled, but were rebooked before the 24 hours notice as is their policy.

This dentist has given me a fear of dentists, though I've hardly got any left for that to matter now! That practice has also changed hands many times. They changed brand 3 maybe 4 times while I was with them.

They simply don't care about their patients, more shockingly they don't care about the children either.
Extremely rude, not able to offer customer services in a polite manner or help with any information. Disatrous communication, not even letting you to explain the problem, making you feel you loose your time waiting for them to pick up the phone just to get a bored annoyed voice at the other end.
Problem sorted by ringing another clinic , no long waiting times to pick up the call, an admirable compassionate voice who hasn't interrupted the explanation, but listened carefully and was able to give us alternatives and solutions in just 3 minutes conversation.
If I could I won't give them any stars.We had a lovely dentist there in the past who worthed to overcome the rudeness of the receptionists.Unfortunately she left and the whole service after was the worst we could ever imagined.

I had a very bad gum pain and wasn't able to get any help from the dental emergency line as I was registered in England and they can not give me an appointment in wales within working hours! I called this clinic to try my luck. Their service exceeded my my expectations. The receptionist was so helpful and the dentist was so kind. I had such a great experience with them! i just couldn't recommend them enough!

Excellent patient care from reception to seeing my dentist. Treatment required explained in detail before deciding to go ahead.

Excellent, Friendly and Professional Staff, with A Dentist that is always a Pleasure to see, I used to be very nervous of going to see a Dentist, but having found Bupa at Gaer, I am a very Happy Confident Customer, and have been for over 5 years, I have and will continue to recommend this Practice, to anyone not satisfied with their Dental Surgery. in cases of Emergencies, I have found that they will try to squeeze me in at the end of the day, you don’t find Service like that anymore! A Definite Thumbs Up, and very Healthy Smile - Thanks to all at Bupa Gaer.

I have not had a check-up since January 2020 and have had no correspondence since, only a text to say my appointment was cancelled in July 2020. I have sent multiple emails over the last 24 months which have not been responded to.

I've been going to Bupa Dental Care Gear for over 10 years, Monica has been my dentist all this time and she is not only Brilliant she is such a beautiful lady, she is kind, caring and so professional, if you have a fear of dentist please go to her, your in safe hands...

Wow what a shocking company. They never answer the phone been trying for a week now . They cancelled my check up . Not the first time . Customer service is awful 😖
