Downtown Store Boston

Spent thousands on furniture, and electronics for years in here, but this last time being in there a week ago walked out when over hearing staff discussing me and my family when trying new mattresses. Which is fine I spent over a thousand pounds elsewhere. Really think a lesson in customer service and bringing down a peg or two wouldn't go a miss with some of the staff, because you work around lovely things doesn't make you any better than others.

Attentive assistant in the bed department. Prompt and efficient advice regarding my options for mattress renewal and disposal. Very satisfied customer.

Can't beat oldrids for quality products and excellent customer service. Downtown is much like a department store of old with furniture carpets clothes toys cosmetics and cookware,also has a nice little cafe and is close to some other shops

Good department store with a range of clothes, furniture, homeware and toys.
Nice cafe serving a range of hot and cold meals.
Visited on 19th Jan and there's currently a sale on with some really good discounts.

Love this store. Visited when the sale was on. Purchased some fabulous bargains. Of vours a trip to the coffee shop is a must

Great wee shop, staff lovely. Coffee shop, stock milk not those plastic things. Too much plastic in the world. I was told it's because you don't want to be cleaning milk jugs!

The store is splendidly set out but since our last visit, which I must admit was 2019 before the pandemic, the stock has changed.
I thought they stocked rugs and bedding and curtains but there was no sign of these items, just large furniture, white goods and clothes!! For me the clothes were totally unnecessary and I shan't visit again, well only for the lovely but expensive restaurant.

Lovely place to shop has everything you need. Restaurant great food.
