When I first walked in the lady who spoke to me seemed a little snooty but when I explained I had pre-ordered one of their lovely tea boxes she was friendlier. When she returned with the box she apologised for the wait and was very personable. The store was well laid out and was easy to peruse. And considering this is just a satellite location offers a good variety of Harrods merchandise and souvenirs and is a good size. It's a great location for anyone who didn't manage to get to the store in Knightsbridge to be able to take a little piece of Harrods home with them. Obviously some things are quite expensive but you can find some reasonably priced souvenirs here.

Harrods has always been a well known brand and this store seems to live up to the name.

The staff don't quality check the products on the shelf. I purchased some chocolate coated almonds from here. When I got outside I found that many of the pieces were melted. Like they'd been left somewhere hot for a while.

They take major credit cards. The staff are friendly and the products are laid out nicely.

Many of the products are a little pricey but that "usually" means good quality.... Just not in the case of my chocolate almonds.

Only four stars because the product I brought from here wasn't to the quality I would expect for the price.

Before flying to Mauritius i wanted to get a new bag. I came into store and found the perfect bag and the store assistant who served me was lovely and wished me a nice trip. I checked online and it was a lot cheaper than their website so i get a bargain!

What a lovely bunch of sales associates here at Gatwick. All the stuff you forgot to get at Harrods. Check them out! Thanks Elliot and Maria you are so charming!!

Horrible customer service.
After having seen that a close friend of mine (who was on the same flight) purchased an item of tea, I decided to do the same.
However, they would not give me a Harrods little bag to carry it because their “policy does not allow” them to give more than one bag per group of travellers. (They actually said “per family” but corrected it with “group of friends” once I told them we do not live together).
I find this absurd and almost offensive: because I look like one of the other person I am sitting with, they would endure this?
Quite discriminating to be honest, probably hadn’t the right accent I suppose.

Ps: I left the item I was about to purchase and that I would have gifted to another friend. They won’t fail because of that, but quite an unusual business policy. Good job Harrods!

Had a decent experience at Harrods (south of Gatwick airport) today, was served by a gentleman, cant recall his name. He was polite and had excellent customer service.

I’ve been customers of Harrods Gatwick for the last 20 years probably.
Always expending around £50 each time I’m flying with a frequency of once every 2/3 months.
Today I did my regular purchase of two presents at 08:00am and the cashier “Sarah” denied me one small bag for each present.
I said I was happy to pay, but she didn’t accept it and she didn’t show any kind interest about it and she offered me to buy a supermarket Harrods bag.
I bought only one present and I left highly disappointed.
I wont buy in Harrods Gatwick South Terminal if this cashier is in there.
Is not about the bag, I felt humiliated.

I purchased £100 worth of tea and coffee. Just to give an idea of how heavy the bag was.
The sales advisor refused to put them in 2 separate bags.
He said he was not allowed!
I am now on the plain with a broken bag and am very angry.
Extremely bad service.
