Using Fast Track

I ordered an item for collection using the Fast Track service, thinking I could just pop in and collect and be on my way. What a joke! When I arrived I was made to wait nearly 7 minutes because the member of Fast Track staff was in deep conversation with the lady at the front of the queue about there families and what was going on. The lady had already been served here packages. I was totally ignored, I was getting angrier and angrier until at last, another member of the staff saw me and served me instead. As far as I know the two women are still chatting!

Picked up a 'fast-track' item from this store recently. However, there was no staff member at the fast-track counter, so waited longer than I would have if I had simply bought it in store in the normal manner. Not sure what the point of fast-track is to be honest.

Out of 7 items needed in the last 5 days 5 of them have been click and pay and collect tomorrow. This to me is not what Argos is about. Why have a store at all? I may as well shop online. I attended a store because I want to purchase an item and take it home,not purchase an item and collect another day. As I said, if I purchase from Amazon I get it next day but generally get the item cheaper too. If the majority of your items are not in store and are being shipped out then you may as well shut the store down and do online only.

The packaging of items ordered were in appauling condition and meant to be birthday gifts. I collected from them from store too so it’s not like they were damaged during delivery to my home (not that that would be acceptable either!). Won’t be going to this one again!

Went into store on Monday 20th July and was greeted by Rachel. She was so friendly and helpful. We were then passed over to Bel, who was equally friendly and helpful.
The store was a pleasure to shop in and everything has been done perfectly, in these difficult times.
Left with my product within minutes of arriving. Super fast service.
Again Rachel was lovely on the way out.

I don’t ordinarily use Argos, but if you must click and collect from them, you’re currently better off doing it from a Sainsbury’s store that deal with returns. I ordered an item without issue on the internet for click and collect from the Squires Gate, Blackpool store. I attended and collected the item and checked it over there and then. The item had two obvious defects therefore I pointed these out to the staff member. The short version is that they refused to simply exchange it for another one because they aren’t currently dealing with returns (even though I’d not even left at that point!). I then had to travel to Argos in Talbot Road Sainsbury’s to exchange the item.

Argos situated in Blackpool Squires Gate Retail Park, has a fantastic choice of everything! With prices to suit all budgets too. At this store, you have the choice of either browsing/buying instore, (where Covid-19 Restrictions are being taken), or "Click & Collect." If you have chosen to shop using "Click & Collect," have your Reference Number ready on arrival as you will be asked for this number before entering the store. Once your Reference Number is given you will then be asked to stand at one of the 4 collection points further into the store, where you will be given your purchase. Waiting time is not long. The staff are very organised, helpful & polite. I would recommend shopping with Argos, Squires Gate either online or instore.

Having ordered goods on line I had to go to Argos to collect. It was all done with the minimum of fuss and maximum of safety.
