Argos Tewkesbury Road (Inside Sainsbury's)

I stood at the paid on line section, because I had! Unfortunately, there was only one member of staff on duty covering three counters. I was asked to stand in the queue on the section being covered. Absolutely no point or benefit to me to pay on libe in advance. Not the member of staffs fault. She was very apologetic and professional.

Horrible, old lady and another lady get on my nerves refusing to let me return my item even tho it's under warranty. Been on the phone outside for 2 hours either they will refund me or the bank will. Horrible Store will be making complaints.

Awful customer service, apparently you need ID for a game with a rating of 12 and the staff who serves me gets very rude towards me about it.

Male cashier told me I couldn't have a refund for my bluetooth headphones because, as I had connected them to my phone "they were used". Not only is this condition not mentioned anywhere on their website or the entire internet, I believe it to be in violation of my statutory rights. I got a refund at Brockworth instead. Avoid.

I went to Argos looking scruffy (which can put some people off) looking for a particular item. I was only looking for cooker hood bulb. A lovely young lady (I’m afraid I didn’t get her name) approached me to see if she could help. I needed to see the item to ensure it was the right one. Unfortunately it wasn’t but the customer service was way beyond what I expected. It was brilliant!!

Do not buy Apple products from this store.

I ordered a new iPhone to be collected from here, as it was one of the few places to have it in stock the same day. However, when I picked it up from the till it was clearly used/returned as the box wasn’t packaged as Apple typically does, but rather wrapped in cellophane with an Argos “quality assured” sticker on it, and the box underneath was quite clearly dirty.

To make matters worse the very same employee who processed my prepaid order insisted I join the back of the queue as the return “was a new transaction I was requesting”. Argos used to be good…

Wrong item given when collected after prepaying online. Stock number correct but incorrect item on shelf. Argos used to have good stock and be quite efficient. Not the case these days with limited stock and mistakes like this. Amazon next day delivery will push them out if they don’t get stock sorted out. Staff seem friendly and efficient though.
