Argos Canterbury Wincheap

Probably my favourite Argos to visit, which - now that I think about it - probably isn't saying that much. It's well located, near other shops and with plenty of parking outside. I've never waited long, especially when I've ordered on advance. The staff aren't always that great, but you never see them for long, so it's not too important. The best part is they nearly always have what I'm looking for in stock.

Great Argos due to the late opening hours. Needed a new bed unexpectedly on a weekend and it was open at 7 to grab one. Saving my back for the following week! Service was really good too, very friendly staff and would recommend to friends and family. my only recommendation would be to have more seats in the waiting area when waiting for your ordered product.

Whenever Argos have an offer they seem to have no stock! Lots of the items I went in for were not available and only available next day. I went in for five items and came out with one (which was my third choice).

This is the worst Argos ever. They know absolutely nothing about good customer service. God forbid you purchase an item and it’s faulty, the staff will accuse you of lying and refuse to give you a refund. The staff are intimidating and are backed by the store manager. Absolute disgrace. I wish I could give 0 stars.

I do not like Sainsbury who now own Argos but I do like Argos. Recently my older brother purchased a Barbie doll for his daughter who is 4yo. Unfortunately it was faulty, the box was ripped in her excitement for Christmas day he paid cash, and didn't scan the receipt which I would advise if it were me you always do or better still get the shop to email it to your email account.

Normally without a receipt you can only ask for a replacement like for like or exchange and the retailer is not necessarily under an obligation to do so.

They did this for us when I asked as my brother was going to bin it and I hate wasting money. The relevant law is Consumer Rights Act 2015 should be of reasonable quality as described and fit for purpose.

Anyway, they agreed to change it which was very kind. So my little niece who is quite ill has all of her presents.

I do like this store and Argos in general as I have had 3 printers which went under the guarantee and were faulty. In the end I got an office type laser printer, scanner and copier online and the ink lasts a lot longer and I can purchase it online but it's expensive.

This store has been modernised and now has an EE concession.

Cannot recommend enough. Both Canterbury superstores are good and hopefully both will remain open as the big Sainsbury in the city is quite old and small for an Argos concession.

Argos Canterbury Wincheap, easy parking, next to Morrison's, pretty reliable staff.

Recently bought a large cooking pot from Argos. Very reasonably priced, the shop was also nice and quiet so got served very fast

This Argos is no longer the premises are closed for good. I have to give 1 star or I can not tell people it has closed down for good.
