Good store, good customer services and great online collection. Also excellent at honouring their price policy. Still overpriced though so you spend half your life following their pricing policy and getting money back or price matching, hence a star less than top marks.

Smaller version of this Quality National Department store Group store with mainly furniture, homeware, kitchenware, gifts and a large and excellent Audio and TV department with all the latest technology (No Fashion or Food) . Also nice restaurant area. Great for a trip out on a Sunday Easy access from M20 with a huge car park, all open seven days. Worth a stop.

January 2019 - I'm still strugling with John Lewis / LG guarantee process - very unprofessional customer service that's trying to do everything but not accepting your claim. AVOID OR YOU WILL LOOSE YOUR MONEY!

Customer service here is excellent. One member of staff asked If I needed a basket, another asked if I needed help with the products I was looking at. When I paid at the end I asked the lady serving me if I could borrow some scissors to wrap the gift I bought, she came back with scissors and tape also.

The homeware was laid out well, the store clean tidy, staff pleasant and helpful. The cafe was bright clean with a good selection on the menu, the staff pleasant and efficient. The toilets are accessible clean. There is a lift to first floor, and a pickup service area. Ample parking. All round a pleasant and successful visit.

Layout was excellent as usual. Was disappointed that so many items did not have a price on. Wandering around the site looking for someone to give me a price was...as I say disappointing.. The bedding dept had great choice. Tea Room was open too, so if a relaxing cup of tea and sticky bun is you, then you will enjoy a visit.

Upon recieving an electronic gift for my birthday, I found that there was design fault with the product. It still functioned well but was not fit for my personal use. Upon trying to return the item, with the receipt and boxing, they refused to refund the item as I had synced it to my phone, not having noticed the design issue before this point. While the staff were well mannered, the expectation that I would look over a gift carefully before using it is unrealistic. This is doubly frustrating because I have always held John Lewis's customer service in high regard. I shall not be shopping with them again.

Great Customer service, but the "guarantee" is a complete scam. My phone had a tiny scratch on the back and they used that as a way to not fix the faulty battery that was on them, would not recommend buying from here
