I WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS IF I COULD!!

I have just had a horrible experience at the TK Maxx branch on Monday 29th August 2022 at 3.30pm. An older female employee behind the counter basically told me the item that I was returning was worn and dirty (a dress for my daughter that she had not even tried on and that I had for two days). When I categorically denied that my daughter had worn it, she told me that she could tell it had been worn, and that I had bought a Kimble gun to reattach the tag, which was in the wrong place. I was so offended, which I expressed. All the while, she had a smug look on her face as if she had somehow caught me out.

I am absolutely outraged at the accusation and how the matter was handled. I spoke with the manager, who told me that the employee probably didn’t mean to offend but that she did not handle the matter correctly. Furthermore, the manager informed me that people go on eBay to buy these Kimble guns. My issue is, I DIDN’T. I had bought this dress in haste from a Watford branch and hadn’t even looked over it that well, but it did not look obviously visibly dirty to me at the time of purchase or return (otherwise I would not have bought it!)

I am absolutely appalled with how the whole matter was handled, and will not be returning to this store. Awful customer service. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!

So many big brands . Just need to make sure you set aside enough time to browse well .
Always left the shop with some items .either household/skin care or clothing or gym products ….they have it all .
Just to make sure you check store return policy ….they’re not keen on return unless is faulty !!

I only buy clothes in TK max. I can always find here something new and attractive. Big store. Big choice. Really enjoy coming here

Tbh I try to avoid large stores only because of queues but I would definitely say that I have been here like 3x with a month due to space, moving queue & great choices. Also the security at the entrance are warm :)

Gr8 bargains to be found in this discounted designer department store. Well worth visiting! It's got a lot of stuff - including food stuff like speciality chocolates, nuts, snacks etc, bath gels & salts, shampoos and hairsprays, books, shoes, toys, winter jackets (in winter), designer clothes, kitchen stuff, some accessories (wallets, purses, handbags, weekend bags etc), decorative items, watches and jewellery (I have found some gr8 bargains here in the past), and more. If you like something pick it up - it most likely will be gone the next day (if not that day itself)! Items are returnable for a full refund within 28 days (apart from earrings). Very friendly and helpful staff.

4/5 stars cause I had click & collect; I asked employee for directions & he told me to queue up with the rest for 20 mins; once I got to the tills I was told that I don’t need to queue and then waited at click&collect point for another 15 mins.

Unfortunately, the experience at the shop this afternoon hasn’t been pleasant at all at TkMax Brent Cross today. We tried to give back an item of clothing and the manager (a lady) on this shop has shown an attitude and not the greatest way when talking to us. It is as shame because we have always had good experiences as we are regular customers.

TKMAXX is a place that has a wide range of things at display. Each store has different things on offer. I personally would recommend that if time permits please visit all possible store in different locations.
