I purchased a Hisense TV from this store - Not an expensive set £280 that was unknowingly damaged. Took it away from store and opened it, didn't hang it on the wall just fixed the legs. Switched it on and it has a tiny crack which became a melt mark. Took it back on the same day and the manager Shafeek refused to return it. He rang customer services and claimed that they hung up on him twice. I'd advise anyone purchasing a tv from Argos to open it in the store and check that it's not damaged otherwise they will not honour it - Leaving you out of pocket and waste your time. As a person of principle, if I had damaged the tv then I'd happily claim on my own contents insurance. Do not buy a tv or high value product from Argos.

The service is just terrible.There was a conflict situation regarding the return of equipment. When I asked to call the manager, the saleswoman said that the manager had a day off today. Then, after a couple of minutes, a man came running and called himself Mo and said that he was the manager. To my fair question that I was told that he had a day off today, he answered with irony that he had come specially for us.Lies at every turn I do not recommend this stock to anyone.

Its nice to go to another store as I'm always going to the Charlton store if you use self checkout you have to have your receipt to get through the barrer.
