Complete shambles.
Went there today (Saturday) at around 12pm. Paid for my item and waited for the number to be called out. My number was put out so I joined a queue to collect. Problem was staff were so unorganised they didn't have some of the items ready even though the number had been called out. They were also just picking up random orders from the shelf and shouting out what they were rather than going in order of number. I waited for so long my number went off the TV screen. It wasn't until I put my receipt on the counter that a member of staff saw it and gave me my item that had been sitting there for ages. Not happy with the service. They need to get their act together and get organised.

You need better staff and definitely a new manager (James). I had to explain to him Argos policy also customer service. They sell you used products if I wanted second hand I go eBay!

You need to send your staff to John Lewis for lessons.

If you don’t have a passion to work as manager etc than I suggest you find something else.

I have had some very poor service from this store, from second hand products being sold as new, having to make numerous trips at my expense to rectify, being denied a refund due to no email receipt ever being sent, improper refund of a purchase made online using paypal but refunded to a gift card. Poorly trained staff & an obnoxious shift manager who could not care less that i had made three 5 mile trips for a toaster !
Then try to contact head office, it's near impossible ! it's set up to wear you down.
I won't be using Argos or Sainsbury's again

I cannot give high enough praise to Dillon who works here as one of the customer service operatives. Why you ask? He was polite, helpful, and knowledgeable about the 2 items I desperately needed. A Garmin Satnav and a charger for my Apple Watch. I’d been a complete silly billy and left my iPhone in a courtesy car in Hampshire!! that I had dropped off to a customer in the morning. I felt so helpless. No phone, no navigation, no contact……..no job. I was able thanks to Dillon to complete my afternoon of deliveries. I Highly recommend Dillon and his colleagues in this Argos for their genuine fresh faced helpfulness ……plus they laughed at my awful jokes 😁

The Redhill branch has extremely poor customer service - stood waiting to collect my item in-line and the staff continued to chat amongst themselves ignoring the line of customers. When the manager came out he offered no apology to the poor old man standing patiently. We all seemed an inconvenience to the staff and manager. No wonder Amazon and other e-commerce businesses have the edge nowadays.

I recieved fantastic customer service from Liam and his colleague in this store late yesterday evening.
I was collecting a very large online order that I had placed during the Argos Black Friday deals.
Liam was polite, friendly and considering there were 40 items to get for me, he was still upbeat and very happy to help.
Liam and his colleague double checked every item to insure I had everything, and they even helped me finish packing everything into the bags I had.
I really appreciate when people go the extra mile, and will definitely be shopping here again.

We ordered an item online, it is now listed as delivered, but we have not received it even though my husband was in the house all day. He has tried to sort this via phone and live chat and all he gets is the person saying they need to contact 'the store' but no one is answering the phone at the store. There must be something the call centre can do when they aren't getting a response from the store. It feels like they do not believe us, but it's a lot of hassle just to get our small amount of money back!
Does anyone know how you can actually get through to someone who can properly handle a complaint at Argos. My husband wants us to blacklist Argos and Sainsburys for this.
