My wife purchased school shirts from Hooks, only to find shirts of much better quality and far cheaper in John Lewis. Upon returning to the store to ask for a refund (shirts still totally unused, in all their packaging and returning within two weeks) was advised no refunds allowed. We were never advised of this at point of sale. The sales assistant, manager and director (also a local solicitor so they were happy to advise!) all got very forceful in advising that we should have read the sign in the store prior to purchase in order to be aware that no refunds are given. They also said we should have seen it on the receipt - something which you only recieve after point of sale! The goods in this store are an utter rip off, far beyond the prices and quality of other stores and to not advise customers prior to purchase that no refunds can be given unless faulty is utterly unacceptable when purchasing lots of items of uniform. Would never advise anyone to go this this store! Many other school uniform outlets around without such ridiculous policies!

Love this store. Really is a treasure trove of goodies - my neices love the toys and I love the gifts. Used to get my school uniform here when I was a kid - when they used to be up the road. A shame they didn't have all the toys then that they have now, buying school uniform might have been as fun as it is for my niece, when we go to get her uniform. The staff are lovely, reall helpful. Couldn't really ask for more. The quality of the product is good and a couple of school cardigans really does seem to last the year.

Staff have superb product knowledge when buying school uniform items. Loads of great other items to browse or buy such as clothing, gifts and different things you wouldn't normally find elsewhere. Worth a visit !

Order and paid for 2 school jumper on the 30/08/2019 and was told they would be there with in 10 days. It has been 9 (02/11/2019) weeks and we still have'nt recieved them. We have recieved no contact from hooks to update us and friends who order the same size jumpers have recieved there jumpers before us when order after us. Contacted them today and they had no sympathy and we was told to just come and get are money back. Dont waste the journey and order online!!!!!!!!!

I would just like to add that I am over the moon with how my order came from this company.
Went through eBay and was not expecting my product to arrive so fast or so well protected.
Not only was it securely packaged , he was protected in a pop hard case and sealed 😵 I am over the moon with my product and 10000% recommend them.

Ordered a loungefly backpack online posting was very fast and not only is the bag stunning but the packaging it came in was gorgeous! Defiantly will be ordering again!

Great to have such a shop in Bridgwater, school uniforms, Lego and lots of other quality toys. Fabulous Gifts and fashion clothing all under one roof, a really good shop and friendly.

Searching for a particular toy I came across Hooks by chance, got the toy I was looking for at a good price, shipped really quickly arriving safely (very well packaged!) within a week.
