Shaws Queens Arcade

Shaws is a store that's been going for a very long time. The reason is that they are the best drapers in Cardiff always offering quality products at exceptional prices. They also have friendly staff to offer you advise if you so require and the shops are well stocked with goods that are well presented and clean and tidy. A pleasure to shop there

Lovely store with an amazing selection of items for the home and individual. Also a good selection of wool, patterns and all manner of accessories. All very good value for money

I would like to say a big thank you to Hannah in the Cwmbran store for being so helpful in finding the wool I have been trying to get for some time, she phoned two shops and managed to get it for me, I am collecting today, brilliant staff some helpful and really pleasant. 👍

Bit disappointed with the store situated in St.David's Centre. Went in for feather pillows but they didn't have any. Not much selection of pillows at all.

Absolutely fantastic service. Didn’t purchase enough yarn to make the cardigan I am knitting. Went to website and placed the order along with details of batch and dye lot numbers. Received the matching balls of yarn a couple of days later. Can now finish my cardigan. Thank you.

The stores opening hours are so disturbing 😫.

On two separate occasions, we drove to this store as their website stated that they were open (which is assumable they should as they are in retail park). However, in both instances we bumped into big locks.

After the 1st occasion, we were told that they were low on staff.

We ended up wasted time, gasoline, parking cost. But we thought no more of it at that time until it happened again today (23/10/22).

So from driving all the way from Caerphilly to Cardiff, we had to drive again to Newport (what a waste of customers time and money).

I would not condone such customers service nor recommend their opening hours on their website until further notice.

Great shaws shop I got what I wanted in sheets curtains in closing down sale I'm feel very sad my favourite shop is closing down who I have shop with for years, please reopen you will be missed. 😢

I'd be lost with out this store, friendly service lots of wool and cheap prices....better prices than on line prices in somethings
