Choice Store

Purchased an item from this store and ended up exchanging it for another in June 2017. The rest of the balance was given on a credit note. I was specifically informed that I could spend it "at any time" by the cashier.

I went to redeem this note recently, when I was told it had expired. I obviously thought this was a new thing but apparently its policy, irrespective of the initial information I received from the cashier. I've emailed customer help and they've said:

Unfortunately we are unable to honour your expired credit note as the information is clearly on the front that the credit note is valid for one year.  This information is also on the instore company policy which is located by each till point.   This information is vitally important and is there for all customers to read before they exit the store.  All our staff do verbally advise customers it is valid for 1 year but this is not a legal requirement by Trading Standards as the information is clearly visible on both the policy and the actual credit note itself. I am very sorry but we are unable to accept your 4 month expired credit note.

I understand your frustration and anger but the information is there for all customers to read and understand the T&C’s.  As advised it also states this on the front of the credit note that it is valid for 1 year. Again I am sorry but this is our company policy and has to be adhered too.

So basically they gave incorrect information, kept my money AND got interest on it sitting in their account.

I have been a regular customer for the past couple of years, but not anymore.

Staff is very friendly, always kind with customers. Also Staff of Choice have Great Professional skills, they help for customers find right cloth, inform customers about soon coming models etc. Wish give Choice 100 *Stars! Good luck for Choice team and Managment!

Asked for a particular Item over the phone to be Reserved and picked up. And then came in to talk to pick it up and pay extremely smooth service great customer service.

Been trying to call numerous times today but no one picks up the phone! Bought a pair of boots yesterday and at home I realised they gave me one boot size 5 and one size 6.

I bought a very clearly faulty and unwearable pair of trainers from them, which they refused to refund, just citing their right to refuse. Appalling.

Very poor customer service infect rude manager.Me nd my friend bought a shoe for my friend and left the shop but immediately he realised the shoe is one size bigger so we came back to the shop and i politely asked for one size smaller one of the staff request the manager for change .The Manager come to the counter and scanning the codes while he was doing that i was politely asked him are u give me the right size one just for make sure because i was bit confused but the manager responded me so badly and he gives me so angry looks nd rudely told me yes i am giving u the right one .I felt so bad myself because I thought i offend him by saying that.Looking forward for better service next time.

The security guard at the front store was very rude. He moved so he could stand and stare at me the whole time I was shopping even though I was right infront of the store. He made me feel really uncomfortable so I had to leave.

Poor customer service. Went to get a refund for a product that I did not wear and was accused for wearing an item that was not even touched and in its packaging. Overpriced too will never shop here again
