Good selection of discount books and stationary. Nice staff and cheap prices. 1st choice for back to school/college

Not sure how to compare to other Works shops I've been to. I used to like getting quality sketch books for a quid, now having too many unfinished ones, don't buy them anymore. Disapointed adult colouring books and miniture canvases don't sell much.

I was looking for a treat for my children and i though i would struggle i found loads and £80 later for two very happy children after school new stock polite staff cant ask for anything else

Massive discounts on some eclectic and great stationary and books! Best place for canvas and funky notebooks!

Great shop, great prices. Stock changes over relatively quickly, so there's always something new every time I go. Downside is that it can be awkward to get round once it gets mildly busy.

As an artist not wanting to spend a ton of equipment, The Works is perfect. It has high quality paints, canvases, markers, pencils, brushes and more. I would highly recommend (especially since there is also a rewards system)

All the staff in this store are always friendly and happy to help.
One lady in particular, who is usually on the tills, with brown hair, tied back, is so positive and kind. I always leave with a smile on my face after being served by her. Lovely lady.
