The Works is a discount retail chain offering products including books, art supplies, games and stationery. It is a large shop with wide varieties of book collection and other arts and crafts related things. It is located in Town Centre. You can shop in-store and online as well. Affordable price for products. It is two-storied shop. Loved this shop.

Absolutely love the shop! Got an absolute bargain on some very specific books I was looking for. Hopefully I will go back there soon for more.

Wow what a lovely airy spacious works compared to the one in Southend it’s lovely and airy and spacious fully wheelchair accessible downstairs sadly I couldn’t access upstairs but the downstairs was amazing I could move round easily in the chair looking at what ever I wanted and was never in the way with someone or several someone’s trying to climb over the wheelchair unlike the Southend branch loved it

My place to buy books, excellent selection, excellent value and great book deals, and the staff are polite, helpful, cheerful and knowledgeable

Great selection of arts and crafts items, priced fairly at a mid-level quality. A good ranged collection of books upstairs from colouring to autobiographys. Although ageing slowly, the spark remains from the friendly and helpful staff.

I browse The Works quite often and sometimes find a book of interest to purchase. Recently I have purchased a James Bond novel called ''Licence Renewed" in mint condition for just £1, a bargain compared to the £6.99 that Amazon were charging at the time. In the last year I have been bettering my French by finding material from this store that has proved invaluable to me, all at bargain prices.

There are novels, biographies, autobiographies, calendars, diaries, puzzles, dictionaries in several languages, educational materials for children... all sorts of things to consider when browsing all at very reasonable prices, if not absolute bargains. The staff are always pleasant and helpful and are genuinely happy to see you.

Good range of stationary, books, arts and craft items. Decent selection of calendars/diaries. Friendly staff, quick check out.

Always a lovely shopping experience in the works Ipswich, the staff are very friendly and seem interested in customers and nothing is too much for them, of all the shops in town definitely the most friendliest and great prices to lots of bargains all year round, highly recommended.
