Friendly staff. Large place. Tidy. Found loads of random bits in there from kids toys, birthday cards, dog beds, organising equipment and DIY stuff.

Lots of things from sweets to DIY if you are in need of a bag of nails or bird seed or even a fancy dress outfit Proper Job will normally have it! Prices are reasonable and there are some bargains to be had on firework night and new year with a massive range if fireworks.

Yeah they have a big range of odds and sods that catch your eye at cheap prices love this place

Went in the Taunton branch , waiting in the queue to be served , a till became vacant and as I went to walk to it the lady looked away and started talking to her colleague and ignored me , so I went to the next till and I said hello ! The lady on the till obviously didn't want to be there! She replied you want a bag ? I relied jo thank you . She went on to put my items through the till and said that's £6.? I paid by card then she said Do you want a receipt, I replied yes I would please , as she went to get my receipt from the till she ripped it and said there that will do !! No please , thank you , hello nothing ! Think proper job want to look at the staff they employ as there going to loose customers if they're spoken to in that manner . Manners cost nothing . Its fair to say I won't be returning to that store again . If she didn't like her job there's plenty more out there ! My receipt said her name is Lucy .

Always end up buying more than what i go in for lol...
Great to have a store like this in taunton, always liked Chaplins, and so glad that this has been taken over to a very similar store.
Great selection of diy stuff for house garden home, and car cleaning stuff.

Disappointed with so many empty shelves. No direction boards to find items more easily, which meant walking much further than anticipated. Not easy for elderly and disabled customers

Nice polite staff and very friendly. Love going here as there is a wide variety available. I would recommend
