The Works

A variety of things in a small shop. I love this place! I don’t come here a lot but when I do, it always pleases me. The things are usually tidy and organised, the staff are extremely helpful and friendly, the prices are pretty cheap and the items are usually organised. The only downside is that the environment is usually loud from children but they aren’t to blame as it’s a kids store!

The Works besides the library The works is the only bookshop I know where you can get most books like reference, The Bible (most times) craft books (whatever you like doing for you hobby) Sci fi, children's books, art books, and even some canvases and paints, pencils. Diaries this time of the year. The list is endless. I go into the store very often if I should be in the Mander Centre of Wolverhampton. I do like to have a good book to read, moreso if it's a good whodunnit I am happy. As I mentioned earlier The Works is located in the Mander Centre just as you go through the doors. The Staff are friendly, cheerful and helpful, always ready to give advice on the choice of book you want. Let me tell you to have a good book to read and a nice cup of tea or coffee it helps you to relax even if it's for 10 - 15 minutes. Why not give it a go visit The Works, there is usually one in most towns or city. PS Don't forget Christmas is near, just a thought for presents.

Fantastic store. The staff are always lovely and very helpful to all customers especially with discounts, special offers and the points card scheme. The only thing I would improve is expanding the store space. Sometimes it's a bit difficult to look at things properly because the space is small, especially when it's busy. But a lovely store overall.

Nice stationary as well as a good selection of books, jigsaws etc.

I use to come here quite regular. Always well stocked and the staff are usually fabulous. Well kept shop. But it's put me off coming here after overhearing a member of staff being quite rude about a customer, if I remember right his name is James (this was a wee bit back). This is not acceptable behaviour.
But other than this member of staff the rest are lovely, especially Jim who helped me out the one day. Great guy!
Mandy is also a lovely lady.

I've started using the Works in Codsall now which is easier for me anyways without going all the way into wolves.
Other than this problem it's a great little shop.

Helpful, polite and patient members of staff. I could not find what I was looking for instore I asked a member of staff and the product was in the store. If unsure always ask.
