I go to home bargains every year to see what christmas toys that i like what they have every year, my favourite item is the muusical plush light up santa and elph when you press there tummy it plays jingle bells for £3.99, we went there yesterday, and there was no christmas toys of a sort, but we’ll try again on thurs 10nov to see if they have any in there then. But i do recommend this place, good selections of toys, batteries, food and much more, 5 out of 5 stars

Brilliant store! We love just spending some time finding bargains and having some retail therapy. Park right outside for free.

I went to get a small trolley, as I struggle with the large ones, and found that they were all gone, which was surprising as it was only 9.30am. When I went in the store I asked an assistant what had happened to all the small trollies. I explained that I have mobility issues which make it difficult to use a large one. She was extremely helpful and explained that a lot of them were waiting to be returned due to being worn out or broken. Until they were taken, repaired and then returned it would mean that they have very few left in service. She then said that I could always use a basket and support it at the narrow end of the trolley, which would save me having to try and reach to the bottom when at the checkout. She even went to the trouble of getting a basket for me.
I can honestly say that it was a real pleasure talking to this lady as she was very polite, kind and helpful beyond what I would expect. She is a shining example of an excellent assistant and deserves recognition for her very helpful assistance.
I even went so far as to ask to speak to the manager to let him know that she had been extremely helpful and that I was exceptionally grateful to her for her customer service that morning.
I wish there were more shops with staff like that lady. An absolute pleasure to talk to and very helpful too.

Large discount store, great for seasonal products acc reasonable prices. Certainly cheaper for LED lightbulbs then most of the larger DIY stockists.

Rude member of staff called Caroline!! Chased me around the store as I had a shopper bag instead of basket. Apparently it states I’m front window your not allowed to use a bag as a basket. Highly confusing when your encouraged to bring your own bags.
She made me feel like a thief which I can assure you I’m not.
I checked the window after and couldn’t see anything about this!’ Caroline is rude and has no customer service. The other lady who got me a trolley was nice and feel she was doing what Karen sorry I mean Caroline was telling her. I will stick to Tesco’s in future who don’t mind u using your bags.

Good range of products, some of which you don't find elsewhere. Competitively priced.
