Great for crafts stuffs and books, but the toys and games are often poor quality imitations of other products, and tend to break easily or not work in the 1st place! However staff are always welcoming and friendly!

Good store if you are looking for cheap gifts but beware that they will not last very long. For books and certain (cheap) arts and crafts supplies you can go there and will grab yourself a bargain. The Staff can be quite friendly but I have found it to be hit and miss to be honest. It’s a good place for your kids to spend their pocket money as they have a greater choice of items in their price category.

We over great value products for all ranges yes it is cramped sometimes but we try to provide a great customer experience for all our customers

Awful place, awful lying manager. I bought superglue which leaked and ruined a t shirt and shorts. Manager kept saying she'd sort out my complaint and never did. I will never purchase anything from this firm again

Brilliant store. Always has everything to keep kids entertained. Friendly staff too. Would recommend

Currently running a bubble machine in Monnow Street. When asked the guy in the shops response was, ‘It’s detergent mate, you wash your hands in that’! He doesn’t get the fact that the bubbles are happily bouncing between innocent strangers. In this time of Covid, really???? The bubbles are full of air taken in from the surrounding atmosphere which could easily contain the Covid virus and carry it on to someone else when they pop!

Popped into The Works today in Monmouth. What an expience! The ladies in the shop were busy sorting Christmas stock. They were hilarious! Not only do they work hard but they really cheered my day! Well worth a visit! Thank you ladies!!
