Heron Foods

Great for deals and for people on a tight budget as that is what Walton vale needs.
However you have to be very very careful in this place with foods and check all dates as they have a bad habit of selling out of date products.

Decent selection of stock...but you'd expect that. However, very inconsistent opening times. some days the store is opened half an hour late or even later. Staff are nice and friendly enough. However....they seem to care more about their fancy little headsets more than you.

They dont make any kind of conversation with you and instead just carry on chatting to their colleague's on the other side of the store (via the headset) about what they had for tea lastnight. Not very Professional now is it? The headset could be useful if used for important stuff but guess what....when all you're using it for is to talk about how long little timmy's hair has gotten. It's not. Please dont ignore the customer right in front of you.

Always have good offers although mainlyon stock nearing best before date. Staff are ok but could be more helpful. Get the impression they dont really want to be there.

I had never really shopped in here until lockdown, great place with loads of really good deals, cool staff too very friendly.

Lovely staff friendly and helpful too. Value for your money 💰

Am a regular shopper at Heron foods at Walton Vale who always gets great bargains with fantastic prices. Staff are very friendly and always provide excellent customer service with courtesy and always go out of there way for me. Thank you. I don't agree with the review left by Sam Thomas regarding the bloke was rude and arrogant towards them as i was in the shop at the time and if it is the right customer who left the review was rude and had an attitude towards him as she appeared to be in a bad mood. I always say hello to the bloke every time i come in to the shop and he is friendly towards me.
