Colne Family Doctors

Good when you can get someone but been trying since 8.30 this morning either engaged or not answering. Left ringing for 3 minutes every time but nearly two hours later no luck with anyone answering the phone. Doctors good but reception appalling.

Slow answering of phone.
Doctors don't look properly.
Reception don't communicate with each other. This is based on 3 experience in 3 cases in past 5 yrs or so. Chocolate fire guard probably more use. Changing practice best thing I can recommend.

Absolutely shocking doctors surgery. Every single month they get my prescription wrong and when you get upset and angry they just don't seem to care. When you suffer with pain you have to keep on top of your pain relief or it come with a vengeance but do they even remotely care that because of their incompetence I can't now go to work or enjoy my Christmas

Wonderful dr but always waiting on the phone always in position 1 but after 17min sometimes in position 1 getting fedup

Only been a patient here since March 2019 but it is by far the worst practice I have ever had to deal with. I have called numerous times for appointments and the system has been down, called the other day for an urgent appointment at 8am when they opened spend 30 minutes on hold and was 20 minutes in position 1 in the queue. I had to hang up in the end as I was already late for work, called back at lunch and they said I should have phoned this morning, to which I replied I did and all I got was sorry try again tomorrow.

I have had bloods done here and the admin staff contacted me to make an urgent appointment with the nurse to discuss my results so I was worrying what was wrong until my appointment which turned out my cholesterol was ever so slightly higher than the norm. Even the nurse was shocked they asked me to come in for that. Unnecessary time off work.

My partner had an appointment in april for the late evening clinic, we showed up and no one was there everyone had gone home, no phone call to let him know it had been cancelled or to rearrange. He asked if they offered at text service to let him know in future but they said they didn't yet I have had texts to confirm appointments with them previously.

I dont fault the doctors here but the administration staff are appauling.

Shocking got to wait weeks for a appointment when they say they will ring back never do you have got to be dieing to get in

Not long too wait but appointments are few and far between takes couple of months to see an actual doctor!

Pretty terrible, dont even open weekends now they changed the name.
