Maureen, the reception manager is lovely if the review was for her alone she'd get 5 stars!!
Unfortunately most the rest of the reception staff are really unprofessional and rude!!! I was left on hold for 10 mins (which is fine as I understand doctors surgeries are busy) but I could hear everything the receptionist was saying to patients she was dealing with, including - full name, date of birth, first line of address (for one of them) and why they needed to see the doctor!! I hung up to call back and explain they hadn't put me on hold properly and could hear everything being discussed and when the same receptionist answered she didn't allow me to finish what I was saying before she did it again!! This is a massive breach of GDPR and patient confidentiality! This definitely needs to be addressed with the staff as its not the first time its happened!!

Rude Reception staff every time I have called / visited the Centre.

Previously had an appointment with the nurse over the phone and no additional information was required from me. This time round, I called on a Thursday for an appointment with the nurse again and was asked to call back next week in the morning to book a telephone appointment on the day. Called back on the following Tuesday and then all of a sudden I got told I needed to provide them with my blood pressure reading which I'm supposed to obtain myself during the pandemic?! I told her that it's ridiculous that I was informed of this when I called last week and I cannot possibly get a reading before my appointment because I'm at work. Her response was "A little politeness goes a long way."

Literally the worst medical centre I've ever been to and a shame that that's the only local one nearby. Please replace the Receptionists. Never received politeness from them so not sure why I was supposed to return the favour when they're incompetent and failed to give even the most basic information.

At this center I had a cervical screening. The tess was made with a tool that was already open and placed on the counter. It was rinsed on the tap before to be used. I sincerely hope that this instrument was accidentally sterile. I would highly recommend that everyone think before crossing the threshold of this clinic. It will be the last day for me.

I struggle to characterise the experience I had this afternoon. Words fail me and the one star overcompensates. Ineptitude would grotesquely understate what was just witnessed and transpired. Tomorrow I will be changing my GP.

You cannot book appointments ahead of time, only by calling at 8am in the morning and hitting redial a hundred times. And even now it's still phone appointments. The doctors do not listen and the reception staff are rude.

Only giving one star because you have too. This is the worst practice I have ever been too. The staff are SO rude. Tell you one thing and do another, i have never spoken to ruder receptionists in my life it is disgusting that they are even hired to speak to sick people. This practice should be shut the way they run in appalling and the staff need some sort of training in how to actually speak to people

Since the practice has been taken over we have found that it is now much easier and quicker to get an appointment due to their new telephone system. Also thanks to Joanna the paramedic.
