I have been a patient with the surgery for quite a few years now and have always been satisfied with the care i have received. I felt the need to write a review at this time because despite the considerable pressure the NHS is under at the moment the recent service I have received from Nazeing Valley Health Centre has been brilliant. I have been getting a bit of pain in one of my hips and called the surgery to see if I could get an appointment. I had a telephone consultation with one of the GPS a few days later and an X-ray a few days after that. The surgery then phoned me 2 days after that to arrange a telephone consultation with the surgery's Physio, Martin. He took a lot of time to discuss the results of my X-ray and what my options were regarding treatment. He also provided me with an exercise plan to help with my symptoms and said to get back in touch if things don't improve. Couldn't be more happier with the service received.

I called the surgery today and was attended too by a very nice receptionist. I was booked a telephone appointment, and was told the doctor would call me back .Within less than 1 hour, I was called back by Dr pharma and he saw me on a face to face basis , this was all within the hour. AMAZING Fantastic service brilliant in fact . Dr pharma was equally brilliant. Thank you very much . 5 star service 😊

As much as I appreciate people are trying to do their jobs as efficiently as possible, interrupting people while they're requesting emergency appointments on the phone is quite rude, and then proceeding to ask for information that was just about to be supplied before they were cut off/interrupted isn't very pleasant.

Sadly, I've had quite a few bad experiences with this GP. I had previously requested a referral for my son for ADHD, and the secretary had forgotten to lodge the referral. It was 6 months later that I chased it up and discovered this. So I have had to add that 6 months on to the 2 year waiting list for my son. I was also given ASD forms instead of ADHD forms to fill in for this referral. Which is non-sensical though I have been assured this is how you request a referral for someone with ADHD.

Sadly, I think a lot of the issues that I've face at this GP are the result of the government cuts, as if there was more funding, staff could be paid better, and a higher calibre of staff could be retained.

I would also like to mention that there are some really lovely reception staff and doctors and nurses that work here. Its just difficult to give a higher review when the first port of call cuts you off midway, doesn't offer you the double-appointment you've requested (which you were advised to ring in for the day before) for a patient with disabilities who needs 3 x referrals for OT, urology and education access (but the receptionist we had this morning wouldn't know because she didn't allow me to explain anything past half of the first Education Access appointment/referral request).

(Translated by Google) There is a car park, an appointment is currently required, the staff measures the temperature. Nice atmosphere.
