the multiple choice phone system is very handy if you just have an enquiry. it does take a long time to get an on the day appointment but the staff are very professional as are the doctors, the treatment room is very convenient if you're needing to see a nurse and the waiting times are not too bad. i see a lot of negative reviews but I do feel the surgery is trying to accommodate the patients they have with ever decreasing NHS support.

I am not a regular user of Bath Lodge Surgery however; I have been requested by Southampton General Hospital to arrange for a doctor’s appointment to review cardiology medication. To expedite the request I walked the ¾ mile to Bath Lodge Surgery at 0800 on Monday morning only to be told that appointments made on a Monday are only available for the following Monday. Unfortunately, I am unable to be in Southampton on the following Monday; I was unable to make an appointment for any other time. Appointments for a Monday can only be made on a Monday. So if I want an appointment on a Thursday I have to make an appointment on a Thursday etc. Is this good customer service …? Is it any wonder I only give Bath Lodge Surgery ONE STAR?

Absolutely shocking. Both me and my boyfriend are currently calling in, and we have both been on hold for half an hour. We have also been told that we are both second in the que! Five week appointment waiting times! Shocking! By far the worst doctors surgery in Southampton! Avoid, avoid, avoid!!!!

Unfortunately the staff here are over worked and stressed and this affects the ambience of the surgery as you walk in. I moved to bath lodge because of it's previous good reviews and was very happy and pleased with the level of care I and my son received. It ended up being a terrible mistake though as it started to have big troubles. I personally don't feel it has ever recovered and I feel vulnerable being a patient here. I have had some whopping mistakes happen and I feel discouraged. We stay away from the surgery and many off my health needs are not being met and I know the consequences for myself in particular will be serious but I have no confidence in the surgery and getting an appointment is difficult and stressful. We are thinking of moving to a nearby town where they seem to be much more successful at meeting the needs off people who have major illnesses. I know the long term effects off staying at bath lodge will have a very negative impact on my health. The only reason they say their booking system is working is because it's so difficult to get an appointment many people like myself give up and don't bother and just get on with their long term serious health issues that really need addressing. If you are considering changing to this surgery please don't. I implore you to not get trapped in this sub standard place. Do your research and avoid joining this surgery

This practise does not deserve one star even with the poor service. Phoned in several of times to get an appointments or phone consultations and I always managed to get "we are fully booked, try calling us tomorrow morning." I even had one receptionist not asking me what the problem is just that they are fully booked in a rude mannor. Never had this problem until this year with this surgery and I've been going to them all my life.

I had an ultrasound scan here today,after being referred from my GP. Based on the reviews I read I was a bit worried, but I found everything to be untrue, staff were very polite, I was seen on time and the doctor that scanned me was lovely and professional, made sure I was comfortable and happy with everything and interactive if I had questions. Overall a good experience :)

This place is an absolute sham. I sincerely question weather or not this place is a real genuine practice. Can never get appointments staff are incredibly rude and have twice sent me on a wild chase all over Southampton's hospitals only to be told I was given the wrong info from that same receptionist. When I made my way back to the practise for what I assumed was my blood test I was told to go back to the hospital and when I questioned the lady at reception she would not admit she had made a mistake and threatened to call security. Had enough of this joke shop and I am going to find a better doctor. Even 1 star is too high of a rating for this place honestly people do yourself a favour and find a doctors that isnt disorganised and outright rude to patients.

Cant see a doctor it's a joke and to wait 2 weeks for a telephone call back ridiculous, could be serious absolutely a joke
