Water Meadow Surgery

- Too slow response
- Excessive delay in appointments
- Always long waiting
- more GP needs to be added in Water Meadow surgery to match with patients population in that area
- In my last appointment, GP literally wanted me to stop speaking about my health issue and leave the room so that he/she can attend another patient.

I tried to get a 20 minute form filled in for an application to the armed forces and was met with rude reception staff being deliberately hostile and obstuctive after having given me three different deadlines, each one going up by 2 weeks. If you're thinking of registering as a patient here I strongly advise finding a different GP surgery with staff who actually want to help rather than being rude and obnoxious

Coming from a surgery where you ring first thing in the morning to be told you are caller number 34 my expectations were low when changing surgeries.

But I have to say this is an amazing surgery. Receptionists are friendly and you don’t have to wait over hour to get appointment. Everytime I’ve had to call it’s never a headache. Very happy here.

I would like to give a special mention to Dr Dupaguntla. I met with her for the first time today and she is by far the kindest and most understanding GP I have ever dealt with. She took the time to really listen and didn’t rush me out of the appointment. I left feeling heard and understood and would like to say thank you. Having recently moved to the area I’m very impressed with the overall service from Watermeadow Surgery so far :)

Adequate but no better. Lacking in compassion. Love sending patronising text messages.

I have been with the surgery for pretty much my whole life, from the days when they were on the main Red Lion St, over the road. I have always been genuinely pleased with the service, staff, professionalism, the works really. But, especially since I have been treated for my leg ulcer the last few years. All of the staff have been wonderful. Polite, friendly, courteous, considerate and caring. I just feel so at home, especially since I have been going for dressing changes 3 times a week! Mainly dealing with the nursing staff, but, occasionally doctors too! Highly recommend the surgery. 😊🙏

Genuinely an excellent surgery, particularly during all the COVID challenges. The medical and admin staff are all friendly, efficient and go above and beyond. Their online portal for prescription ordering is brilliant too. Highly recommended.

Just moved to Chesham and changed to Water Meadow. 1st appointment was fabulous ! Efficient change-over / Welcoming and super-friendly reception staff and Dr Neal was simply superb. It's almost worth the house move just to experience how a great surgery should be !! Thank you !!
