Dr A Ipakchi - Barbara Castle Health Centre

The two times I've phoned for an appointment I've been sent to other surgeries. Then when I asked for more medication another time, the receptionist told me I couldn't until I've seen the doctor, who then booked me in over a week late. This has left me now having complications thanks to a receptionist who thought she knew best. I wish it wasn't my local surgery to be honest.

Honestly the rudest receptionists you'll ever had to deal with often ending calls before finished. Doctors in the surgery have absolutely no clue what there on about, can only read test results from a screen. Seeing the main doctor is really hard as hes always on annual leave? Went here for 1 year straight all over one issue still not been solved they've given up.

After ringing for 29 min when they finally answered, receptionist was so rude ended my phonecall when I was still speaking and lying that they sent the prescription to our pharmacy.

MESSAGE TO THAT RECEPTIONIST.
Please, if you don't like your job, people in general, not an easy to talk lady, just do everyone a big service and quit.

Prescription request a week ago via doctor link, NOT DONE, why do you ask to use that app if no one bothers to take a look at the prescription?

Prescription request via telephone, NOT DONE, and lied about it.

I'm not requesting the medicine just for fun, my critically ill son needs them, have some compassion.

Reader, if you are looking for GP avoid this one!

My family been at this surgery for over 3 yrs. Dr Ipakchi & Dr Veena Goyal are really good But now they have merged with Addison House Surgery It has become a nightmare. Every time i call it goes to Addison house which have the rudest receptionist on this planet, they will never give you a straight answer and act like a boss. There's no way to speak Barbara castle receptionist directly. I will be changing my GP if they don't sort this s**** out.

Have been at this surgery for over 20yrs. Dr Ipakchi is amazing. But now they have joined with Addison House Surgery I have twice asked for a call back from him and no call back. I cannot speak to the surgery directly phoned up in tears today they put me on another drs list. We were told we will still be able to see our Drs and have our drs call backs. I ended up in bits shambles.

Since the merge with Addison House this surgery has drastically gone down hill. There simply isn't any drs here anymore. If your lucky enough to get a call from a Dr they won't see you themselves they send you to hospital to see the GP. The receptionists are rude,aggressive and the most unprofessional I've ever encountered.

Excellent surgery I was a patient for nearly 15yrs Excellent service...DR IPACHI was an excellent Dr.he was extremely missed after his retirement. I have now moved out of the area,but I have good experience with the surgery

Second day in a row when I leave work early to get there at 6, closed although closing time is 6:30. Also, not very nice reception staff sometimes, there are 2 receptionists who are especially rude. Really poor service. And just to clarify that I am talking about the receptionists at Barbara Castle and not at Addison House. I have, however, noticed that they are nice with British people so maybe a little bit racist?
