Harrow Road surgery needs staff that have better customer service. They have you waiting outside for ages without so much as a word. As a person who has worked in customer service it is polite to let people who are waiting know that you will be with them shortly, do not speak to them so rudely, be dismissive or interrupt a person mid speech. And there telephone manner leaves much to be desired. Geraldine and the two other ladies who I did not manage to get their names really need to be retrained on proper customer service etiquette.
I honestly don't believe that they even deserve a star.

Great service! I am not registered to this GP however, my clients are registered in here and they are well looked after. They always update us. All doctors, nurses and receptionists are kind and polite to us.

Absolutely pathetic reception staff , specially the lady on the reception phone , she is always aggressive and always talking over the patients and very very rude. The don’t care about the need of the patient, I have back pain from last two weeks, been taking medication for the pain since 2017 I have been telling them to transfer me to a hospital so I can been treated as the pain gets worst but they are not doing it. The medication that that the Gp has given me makes me sleep and that was the reason I missed there call this morning, I called them back in like 30mins to explain now they tell me that I have to wait another 1 week for the phone appointment which I was waiting from last two weeks. I’m on the bed from last two weeks and all I can get from reception staff is two weeks wait for a phone call from GP and another one week of wait again coz I missed there call this morning because of the medication oversleep.

Someone deleted my comment here which was posted some months back. To start again, this is the worst GP i have come across the receptionist (a white elderly lady with short hair) is very rude and not very helpful. Everytime you get her on the call she will put you off by givining some reason and cutting you off.

01/09/2022 (My latest review)
Got a message in the evening at 6.30pm to book appointment for my daughter polio vaccine, called the GP at 11:00am morning today and I get the same lady on phone and she tells me, The slots for September are already full please call tomorrow. How come the slots are full when you sent me a message last night at 6.30pm and the GP opens at about 9pm? She does not want help and wants to cut the conversation.

This in not first time, its been like this since I joined this GP.

I dont understand why the GP employs such people who are very unhelpful. These people must understand we too are working hard and paying our taxes in time, we too expect them to treat us properly.

Very bad service
Today 09/02/23 I had an appointment for a health check and he canceled my appointment at the last moment when I was about to arrive at the surgery, the reason:
- that I no longer live in ha9 and I moved to ha2 and their rules are to change my surgery immediately, I have had this GP practice for 9 years, now I have to change because they no longer accept me there, i- I told the blonde lady at the reception that I don't want to because I have all my medical history there, but she obliged me
I have been waiting for this appointment for 3 weeks because I feel extremely bad and I am more dead than alive, she is not interested in this, she keeps telling me to change my GP because their rules from the manager is to they don't accept me there anymore, I continue to feel extremely bad and like a vegetable, and the blonde lady at the reception didn't even want to understand this and help me.
What happens to me if I have cancer and for people like you who die because it was not discovered in time and measures taken?

Was dealt with staff Phil and a second to none experience. Pleasant time and performed a miracle in helping me book transport, which I was too late to arrange. As I’m partially disabled with severe health problems, they really saved my life, please continue the good work, I’ve been using this surgery for 11 years, and it gets better and better. one of the WORSE gp surgeries in wembley. The practice manager is SO rude. Does not listen (doesn't know how to more like) No apology given, until i stated, even still it was not genuine. Talks over you when speaking. Didn't really ask if a telephone conversation can be listed to, she just stated 'With your permission' that's not really asking. The receptionist is just as bad. NO stars at all, i just had to give one to post this 'review', I don't know how this practice has been open for so long. Customer service is TRASH and I work in the hospital, I know how customer service should be. When you actually need help, you can't get it. awful place!

This is by far the worst GP in the whole of London. Very bad receptionists, very long waiting time and so disorganised. Had an appointment at 9.20, but receptionist forgot to let the nurse know. After 20 minutes she remembered and said to me that I had to wait at least 10 more minutes and this after 10 days waiting for my appointment
