Took a year to complete a GP report, lost my Covid medical exemption form without recording, needed to explain how to do this to the surgery, they refused to change my name even with photo ID. I haven't had a pleasant dealing with this surgery since prior to Covid.

It is just impossible to get anyone to answer the phone and that is not just recently. You have the pleasure of waiting 15 minutes on hold just for them to then hang up on you. My fifth time today! For those lucky few that actually get to speak to a doctor or the fewer that get to see a doctor, it is then the luck of the draw who you see. They clearly do not speak to each other or read the notes. In a commercial world, this place would have gone out of business many many years ago and this has nothing to do with them not having the funding it is just bad management and customer service..........................oh they just hung up again!

Multiple reviews of rude receptionists but I would like to experience this as I can’t even get through the call system. You phone and listen to a standard recorded message about what they can and can’t do for you on the phone & telling you to hold to speak to a receptionist. If there is space in the queue you sit and listen to hold music for a few minutes before another recorded message says if you cannot hold then phone 111, at which point the line cuts you off!!! Bearing in mind they have deactivated online booking even to have a telephone call, the only way seems to go to the surgery. I appreciate dealing with doctors has changed but sort the basic processes as Covid has been with us for well over 2 years so you’ve had long enough!

Personally not seeing the reason for negative reviews, I was sceptical at first honestly because of them. But went in, very polite at the desk and helpful, a lady in front of me was being helped a lot by the lady at the desk, she was very patient and helped her with all her questions. Also the doctors doing my ultra sound were friendly and professional too.

I either got in on a great day or they have changed staff since prior reviews.

The Paramedics who had been treating me for a dip in my covid symptoms waited an almost an HOUR for the Dolphin surgery to call them back yesterday. All they wanted was to make sure I got a prescription for a chest infection. After calling up and chasing them, not once but THREE times on the phone, did they eventually get a doctor to call back, they then had to GO TO THE PHARMACY themselves in their ambulance to pick up my prescription as apparently neither my husband and I were allowed in. Again totally ridiculous, my husband was testing negative and would have used a mask. How are people meant to get treatment then?!

DO YOU THINK THIS IS VALUABLE USE OF PARAMEDICS TIME?!

The only reason they could get hold of a receptionist is because they had a direct line to call as part of some directory they were members of. Both times either of us tried on the main line we were on hold, given a msg about calling 111 (which I’d already done!!) and then hung up on.

This surgery is not worth it and I’ll be swapping as soon as we can!

After having an unsatisfactory experience using myskindoctor.co.uk's online service I was invited to your Haywarth's Heath clinic to see a dermatologyst in person.

My appointment was with Dr J Farrant who was friendly, welcoming and approachable.

I felt that Dr Farran'st knowledge and experience as a dermatologyst were invaluable when making her diagnose and deciding on a course of action.

I felt that after suffering a self sustained allergic reaction for over 7 weeks in the form of hives, Dr Farrant expertly diagnosed me as suffering from Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria (CSU), paving the way for me to get proper care.

Dr Farrant was very pleasant.

Regularly you ring, only to be cut off. 10 minutes waiting on phone today before someone put the phone down on me. Slow to update medical record and online prescription service, and antiquated method of communication between hospital consultant and Doctors surgery and vice versa.

- Edit! Big improvement in phone service. Much better answer phone message and call directing options. Easier and quicker to actually speak to someone. This is after all what people need.

- online service working better. Blood test results come through on a separate system to prescriptions etc, but it feels like steps are being made in the right direction re communication.

Staff are super friendly and understanding. When I really need an appointment they will see me or call for an appointment. It’s reassuring knowing they prioritise their patients. If it is a small issue I call up and able to get one for a few weeks later which I am happy to do. Would highly recommend. The reception team are fantastic and help make me feel reassured
