This surgery should be closed and the people working there never allowed to work in any other surgery EVER AGAIN. Every single time we called first thing in the morning when the lines open (8:30)we got told all the appointments are gone and that we should call after 2pm…At 2pm got told to call next day in the morning.

We went there to see if they were truly busy and the surgery was absolutely empty and we took the phone and called and the line was busy even though the receptionist wasn’t talking on the phone and the phone wasn’t even ringing.

It used to be a good surgery but since Covid you Can never get through on the phone and when you go to the door they turn you away saying you can't get an appointment and basically 'tough luck' attitude. Most of the admin are nice but some are very snotty and rude to patients. The way it's going more people will die from neglect than covid. If it weren't for 111 services people would be in a worse situation. I get through to 111 with no issues but not my own gp what the heck is that all about. And multiple times I've been first in queue to get apt then I get hung up on

Absolute joke, trying to book an appointment here is beyond shocking, cannot book online, removed service since COVID, about time this is reinstated now, cannot get an appointment on the day, got 3 concerns now, one being a cancer concern and no way of getting it checked out, this surgery seriously needs new management and sorting out. Great value for my 30 years of NI contributions????? logging complaint with MP & Ombudsman. Do not join this surgery!!!!!!!!

The service, is mainly phone based but makes you call at certain times for prescriptions and doesn’t even answer the phone. Left call going for over an hour. No one answered then call was ended for no reason this happened multiple times on consecutive days

Useless. Took 2 weeks of calling daily before I managed to speak with someone. Had to wait another 3 weeks for a telephone appointment for a prescription review. Told I'd receive call between 9am-2pm. As of 6.30pm, their closing time, nothing. Eventually got a call at 7pm. NHS want to charge patients for lateness and missed appointments, should be the same when they won't do their job.

I tried to get an appointment here for 2 weeks now, I call 8 am -no appointments they say call 1 pm....again same story (there is no other way to get an appointment here). Each time waiting for your turn about 1 hour. Moreover reception does not give an appointment for the following weeks either.
After insisting to have an appointment later on I was finally give one (2 weeks later). I am not calling for small things but knowing that I have heart palpitation and put on medicine in my country the only way to get the medicine here is if a doctor is prescribing it. If they are so busy why do not offer appointment in advance ? Do we really have to call 2 weeks all day to be offered an appointment?
Email or phone call as much as you want...there is no way you can solve your problems.
No matter how much I explained to receptionists how serious is the situation all they have to say is '' not available appointment''. All you get lack of compassion and interest from reception manager.
Not sure how they sleep knowing that conscious they might put somebody at cardiovascular accident.

Not sure what changed but 2 years ago they worked better...

I've been a patient here since I was born, I'm 26 now and have no way of getting an appointment because they've cornered themselves in with too much intake. Such a shame I have to write this review but after a few years and hospital trips I've excepted that my best bet now is waiting for it to be serious enough to warrant A&E, absolutely heart-broken to have to do this but for your safety please don't use this service.

Rating is for phone service, I am unable to give a minus!
I have been registered here for about 45 years. For the last few years the poor answering service has been blamed on the phone system that was in place and I was repeatedly advised it would improve when the new phone system was installed.
Apparently the new system is now in operation and has resulted in an even poorer service.
I tried eleven times this afternoon during the course of an hour, each time I was cut off after waiting several minutes in a queue.
( I must remember, Happy New Year and goodwill to all men!)
